This park is right at the beginning of the aqueduct. It is across the street from the Callejon de Romance. There is a lot of traffic in the area but I still found it to be a pretty place to take a break while walking around the city.

Around this place is a lot of afternoon life and nightlife, specially if you are visiting Morelia. This place is exactly at one side of the Fountain of Tarascas and about 2.5 miles away from the Chatedral, this is where the Aqueduct starts and where lots of locals meet and gather to go somewhere else.

The statue is impressive, but the traffic detracts from being fully able to appreciate it. It's on the way to may of the city's sights, so it's worth stopping to see in passing.

This plaza at the beginning of the Aqueduct has a set of bars and restaurants with outdoor seating and artisanal beers.

By walking to the end of Madero (the main drag that goes through central Morelia) you come to this very lovely fountain that is inside a small park. I thought it nicer than the Tarascan Fountain despite the historical importance of the Tarascan one. The famous Aqueduct that brought water to the city for decades also ends here and you... More
