Beautiful beach with this famous sand bridge (at low tide) to the small island. When we were there, we had to get into the water up to our hips to get over, good training for our legs, swimming at high tide or taking coopers. The beach is well-visited from 12.00 (sometimes very much up to), very international and colorful ...

Cool views, especially on the nearby island of Ma. The sand is pleasantly large, and the water line has large sediments of coral debris. The beach is cleaned in the morning. Of the establishments on the beach only restaurants attached to hotels - 2-3 pcs, so in the evening here is boring. The main thing about the beach - a thin spit of sand that can be reached at low tides to Ma Island - was disappointing. The spit apparently collects all the debris drifting off the coast due to the characteristics of the currents. Especially a lot of glass fragments, many of which are already rounded with water, but there are also sharp ones, so it is better to go in your shoes. The island itself is also muddy: either by tourists, or by currents, or both. In general, the beach itself is OK, as one of the points for the journey, but more than a couple of days here is hardly worth staying)

A place easily reached by scooter, minivans quickly charge 150 or 250 Bth per person. Make sure you are there at high tide, then you can really enjoy snorkeling. But even better, don't forget the massage on the beach! Powerful and skillful hands will take you away for an hour to return reborn.

Really beautiful beach and remarkable island connecting by spit. The beach was spacious and goes on for quite some way meaning you can have your own space however is bordered by some resorts. It’s a good place for swimming or kids with almost completely sand bottom chest depth water. Don’t bother bringing a mask or snorkel because the swell makes it really cloudy, and theres only a couple types of fish anyway. One surprise that isn’t in the photos is how one side of the spit is completely washed up plastic bottles, unattractive to look at but constantly being cleaned by locals

I stayed at the Maehaad Resort, a hotel offering beautiful, comfortable, spacious rooms with a terrace. The well-chlorinated infinity pool is located fifty meters from the beach. It is important to know that at the exit of the hotel, on the same street, there are scooter rental companies. Be careful, because the prices are affordable, from 300 to 400 baht per day. However, a big drawback is that they require your passport as collateral. For my part, I went to a beach and parked my scooter in a parking lot. When I returned, it was on the ground and had seven scratches. The rental company charged me more than 350 euros, which is very expensive for scratches. I'll leave the identification of the rental company to you, but I think they all act the same way. Small clarification, these scooters all have an identification plate. My rearview mirror was unscrewed, so I stopped at a home to borrow pliers and tighten it. The rental company already knew about it, even though I was on the other side of the island. Notice to future tenants

The water is clean with surprisingly decent snorkelling. A cool novelty to have a sand bar connecting the two islands. Good water depth for swimming with a reasonably priced bar at the beach so you can spend a little extra time there without supplies.

Walk past the resort right to the end of the beach for peace and quiet. Around the resort it’s obviously full of that ilk of people so if your a traveller, walk past them and enjoy the beach further down where there is a chilled bar. If you fancy the nudist beach you can walk through the rocks to a private beach. The snorkelling is not great here but it’s positioned greatly for the morning sun unlike some other beaches. Great swim if you don’t like deep waters like me. Well worth a visit and some great shots available

This is such a great place. The beach is a very nice sandy beach. Access to good snorkeling from the beach. To be able to go to the island on a sand bank that varies in size with time the water. The sunsets are so beautiful here. We will definitely return here again. Then it's a little smaller place so not a lot of beach vendors who go there.

In my opinion you can't really enjoy the stay there because of the amount of people hanging around at this beach. There are definitely better beaches in Koh Phangan that aren't that crowded as well. The water is dark and milky and the sand is just shell shards and dead corals. Go to other beaches! The scenery is beautiful though but like I said you can't really enjoy it there.

During our day tour of the island, we came here in a private taxi. No doubt it’s one of the best beaches in Koh Phangan. It had all the facilities like swimming, water sports, massage, bar n restaurant. The sand was very smooth. The best attraction of this beach was the sandbar through which one can walk in the middle of the sea and reach other side which is Koh Ma Island. The walking experience on the sandbar was amazing.
Don’t miss it…

We came here to see the famous path that joins the 2 islands but were really disappointed. Touristic place, crowded with big resorts and restaurants on the beach. We walked in the water (as everybody does) but it’s not useful, especially since there is nothing on the other side.

Slightly coarse sandy beach with shallow waters but beware sea urchins. Quiet when we were there. Walked across to the island. Unusually sunbeds and umbrellas for hire at reasonable price. Had an enjoyable light lunch at the restaurant on beach adjacent to sunbeds.

Not the best beach we've seen on our travels, water was murky and full of seaweed. We walked across the sand bar to Koh Ma and we instantly regretted it. Place had limited access and had mounds of rubbish washed up on it. Would skip this area, far nicer spots on the island

Went there for snorkling and was disappointed at first. The corals are so close to the beach (not even hip-deep) that I was not able to enjoy it for fear of cutting my legs or stomach.
BUT then I learned the trick: Walk along the left side of the abandoned Ko Ma Island and go in to the water from the rocks. 100 times better. Wear shoes or flippers because of the rocks. Also very shallow at first, but it gets great about 10metres out. Amazing.
It is Where all the boats stop.

Enjoy!
