    It's worth it 👍
At the beginning of March, I arrived here at 5:30 in the morning and it was already starting to get light. It would be ideal to be here at 5 am, no later. Lots of photo locations, not too many people. Climbing up the mountain with tickets in an open car along a very dusty road with red sand and flour. I do not recommend wearing light clothes. Don't forget a monopod for hyperlapse photography.

    How Cool is this!!!
One of the highlights of coming to Krabi Thailand was coming to this viewpoint that is a little out of the way. You have to take a four-wheel drive up a bumpy dirt road for 100 baht per person to get to it , but is Worth it. This place is simply incredible and we loved it. This is near James Bond Island.

Great views and wicker sculptures to take photos on also viewing platforms.there are toilet facilities at the viewpoint and also at the car park . Expensive but breathtaking 180 degree Phang Nga panorama!
Expensive but breathtaking views! Even the Phang Nga Bay seen more beautifully! But it's also cheaper! Right next to it is a second viewpoint. Same view, same nature, but no glass skywalk. Everyone needs to know whether or not they want to support this landscape-trading structure / hotel. In addition to the 500 Baht entrance fee (!), there is a minimum consumption of 200 Baht, which you should also use to fully enjoy the view!

    Breathtaking from beauty
Incredible views! Definitely recommended. Admitted at 10:00 a.m., not at dawn - it was still wow! Climbing the examination 90 baht per person in a pickup truck. Photozones on the exam room are killed, but I didn't care, the main view!!

Great view of Phang Nga Bay
The summit offers breathtaking views of the limestone karsts and the waters of Phang Nga Bay. It is particularly beautiful at dawn when the sun rises from across the sea and the sky is painted pink and gold. There are now three vantage points: - Samet Nangshe Viewpoint is the viewpoint itself, where most tourists come (and where we came) - Sametnangshe Boutique is a hotel and café overlooking the bay - Beyond Skywalk Nangshi - Glass Bridge Samet Nangshe's observation deck is gaining popularity with tourists every year.

For our honeymoon we stayed 3 nights in this hotel, with a unique view in the world. The room was actually quite disappointing, it was located next to the pool and there was no privacy. During the day we had to keep the curtain drawn because all the people to access the pool pass in front of the room. You can't sell rooms like this, stay the ones at
Upper floor which is precisely the superior. The view is still crazy but what changes is the privacy. The rooms are quite old, with a smell of humidity, the bathroom is not very clean, but incredibly all this goes into the background. Why this structure
However, it will remain in your heart because it is simply unique. You never get tired of a view like this, especially from the swimming pool. The work on the structure next door did not bother us. Another very positive note is the restaurant. We eat really well. We have always tried Thai dishes. Crazy crab soup. If you have a Joker from
Having to play spend it by staying overnight in one of the villas. If I came back I would do this. I don't think you ever stay in places like that again. Note: excursion to James Bond Island needs improvement: really unfriendly boatman, on the way back they left us at the bar and we didn't know how to get back to the hotel and we had to ask the lady to call the hotel for us. Also a little too touristy. If I would like to go trekking in the forest again, it's a shame that more excursions aren't offered so that I can spend more days in the hotel.

Easy and picturesque drive from our resort in Mai Khao. Arrived & paid 90 baht each for return transport (Toyota pick up trucks to fit 8 passengers at the back) to viewpoint
and restaurant (which was clean, cosy and inexpensive with delicious Thai dishes.

A few reviews mentioned a ‘bumpy ride’ to the top - this is an understatement…we were a little shocked at how much we had to hang on for dear life to stay in the vehicle/not bump our heads etc.! It felt very unsafe (big sudden jerks and jolts) and frankly quite shocking when we started the drive up (we more prepared to hold on tight on the way back down - there was a pregnant lady with us and I really felt for her as she was unprepared and very frightened) It’s only a couple of minutes though and the view is worth it for most! Really beautiful. Just wanted to warn travellers who may be a little frail or unable to hold on tight.

This lookout needs to be on your list of things to do.
You can hire a driver to take you or drive yourself it easy to find.
The view over Phang Nga Bay is spectacular. There's a lovely little restaurant at the top for refreshments.
When you arrive you park at the bottom , you can either walk up but o wouldn't recommend its very steep and a long road up, or you just pay a small amount (40b I think) for a return trip in the vehicle

The view of the islands is very beautiful, that's all. At the car parking place, you will be met by gypsies who will charge you 90 baht for going up and down the mountain, but no one will explain that in order to pick you up you need to call the driver of the SUV, no one will give you a number either. Therefore, you will find out this information below when you descend a very steep mountain on foot. With us, grandparents and families with small children were forced to walk.
If you decide to ask the gypsy woman at the checkout why they didn’t pick you up, she will pretend that she doesn’t even understand the Thai language, let alone English.

As for the observation deck itself, all the art objects are broken, the paint has peeled off a long time ago, none of the cafes are open, the houses for rent look like a shabby rustic barn.

We wanted to watch the sunrise, drink coffee, have breakfast. Nothing worked.

Don’t waste your time, a modern equipped place has opened 500 meters away.

It’s a beautiful location and surrounding glass bridge to the view point …it’s not the best seen better view points much better and cheaper to view
Remember it’s not free 750 BHT Per person for the view point and buffet meal or snacks. We did a stop over on route to Krabi. It’s okay 👍🏽

In Phangna this is an iconic viewpoint that every tourist ˋshould´ see. The access is 13 km off the main road. From a parking site a pick up brings you up to the viewpoint for 50 baht. The view from there is nice but for the seasoned tourist not overwhelming. Mother Earth has nicer places than this. So all the adjectives synonym to ´awesome´ are in my opinion exaggerated.
At the top there is a small restaurant, crowded even now and for some mysterious reason it is assumed that we need loud Thai music to enhance the experience....
So, if you are near, have a look, but it is not worth a special long trip.

There’s no doubt that the view is very good but everything else associated with this viewpoint could, and should be much better.
To reach the viewpoint from the car park, you can pay a few baht and climb into the back of a pick up truck for an extremely bumpy ride upto the viewpoint. Anybody with mobility problems would find the journey impossible.
As mentioned, the view is very good but the best in Thailand? I don’t think so.
There’s a cafe and toilets. The toilets were frankly disgusting and when they had last been cleaned was anybodies guess.
The same pick up truck will return you to the car park where there are a few food stalls. When we returned, some other Thai people told us it’s better to use the transport at a near by hotel.
Not the sort of place to visit more than once.

When we arrived and saw the fee for visiting we were deliberating on whether to go or not. We decided to pay the 30 baht fee to walk the 700m up a relatively steep hill. Glad we did. Awesome views from the top. BTW you can pay 90 baht and get a bumpy ride in a pick up.

A great viewpoint and low cost.
If you chose to walk (30 baht) up the hill expect 20-30 mins of hot, dusty, very steep hill.
You can pay 90 baht for a return pickup journey instead.
At the top the view is spectacular (best in the mid to late afternoon as the sun is behind you OR very early morning sunrise). There are seats, swings a small cafe/restaurant.

Worth a visit.

Samet Nangshe Viewpoint is one of the most popular viewpoints in Phang Nga, which is a province in the South of Thailand, nowadays. The viewpoint located at the top of the hill. You can reach there by feet or serviced taxis; however, since I have been there twice using both means, I do suggest you choose the serviced taxis. The serviced taxis cost 30 Baht per person for a round-trip ticket. However, if you really enjoy watching the plants and the animals along the way up there, you can try walking. Please bear in mind that the hill was quite steep, you need to be very careful.

The view up there was stunning; especially at the sunrise and the sunset. At the viewpoint, you can see many mountains, the sea, the rivers, and even some small islands in the sea in the panorama view. The place was quite crowded, but it was worth to go and see the view once.

Although you are not a good photographer, I am pretty sure that you can take a beautiful photo there.
