My girlfriend and I just got back from a weeklong trip in Costa Rica during which we took an overnight rafting trip along the Pacuare river with Exploradores Outdoors. It was a great experience. Signing up for the trip online from the United States went smoothly and the transport arrived just as promised at our hotel in San Jose. We... More

Our group of 4 was picked up on time by Exploadores from our cruise ship terminal in Limon. We traveled to the river site in a comfortable van guided by a friendly staff that gave us a tour of the countryside on our way there. The one day trip on the Pacuare river was unforgettable. Breathtaking scenery, wildlife, waterfalls and... More

Had an amazing time on our Pacuare River whitewater rafting trip with Exploradores. They have a streamlined operation and the guides were all 100% friendly (like most everyone in CR). We decided on the two-day option, which though expensive, is a definite value over the one-day ($220 vs $100). Beyond the great experience of rafting in CR, we had a... More

I had never rafted before so I was a bit nervous before our trip down the Rio Pacuare but it turned out to be one of the most fun days I've had! So glad we booked through Exploradores. The guides were so awesome and knowledgeable. We were picked up at our hotel in La Fortuna and transported to the rafting... More

I went on a rafting trip on Christmas Day 2015. The rafting was wonderful, and conducted very safely. However, the transfer driver who picked me up from San Jose was a very poor driver. He drove dangerously - too fast, too close to other cars and exhibited poor decision making in relation to his customers' safety (Eg he left us... More

We did the 2-day rafting trip with Exploradores. It was easy to book and a great value. We liked the fact that transportation was included. Let me start off with the great: Roberto, our guide, was amazing! Personable, experienced, and patient, he really made the trip a favorite of ours. The overnight camp exceeded our expectations. The bungalows were amazing,... More

We did the 2 night Tortoguero/rafting and I cant say enough good about EO. The guides were professional and friendly, yet taking your safety as a first priority. The food was great, the pick up bus in time etc etc. Everything you want from a tour company.

This was the highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. We did the 2-day Pacuare river rafting tour with camping (which is really a river lodge). Our guide (Robetho) was amazing in every way, and the place itself is magical

For a two-day adventure, this was the best you could imagine. EVERY detail was done well including my hotel pick-up, all five meals, the kindness and knowledge of our leaders (Jorge, Kenneth, y Angel), and every participant seemed to have high praise. I don't know about the other raft trips on the Pacuare, but I can't imagine that the others... More

We booked the 1 day river rafting trip and transfer from San Jose to Puerto Veijo and it was amazing! We go picked up in the morning and taken to the Exploradores camp where we had breakfast and could get changed if need be (clothing wise I’m so glad I wore leggings, as the back of my leg was rubbing...
