Nice beach, nice beach, but when we settle down to leave, at 19:00, we find the bathrooms locked. The staff shrug, tell us they don't have keys, that it's locked. We ask to speak to a manager and are told that he had left. It actually manifests itself by chance shortly after and we also discover that the young woman we had spoken to just before was the daughter. It is explained to us that at a certain time the bathrooms are always closed due to "septic tank saturation". True or not, it is forbidden to hold activities open to the public without active toilets. And it is not lawful not to inform customers (who in part were still there, undisturbed) - through known conditions - of the "closing" time of the services of the lido, even before sunset.
If at 18:30 you have to close the bathrooms, you should notify (no service conditions posted or provided) and have the beach cleared.
For the record: the bathroom was opened to allow me to change, in the face of my complaint.
Salento deserves more professionalism in beach management.

I think it's the best beach in the area, the sunbeds are spaced farthest apart, the beach is clean. In one of the places where the sea is most beautiful... the food is also good I must say... last year we ate there many times. This year, however, we went to eat elsewhere due to the rudeness we encountered. Twice, once at 11am during a coffee and once at 3pm for a snack, they sent us away from the bar because they were busy with lunch, even though there were free tables... few smiles apart from the boy who accompanies the umbrellas... and the paid shower which lasts one minute and without water... perhaps to be fixed...
Sin!
I hope to find a friendlier environment next year and a little attention to the customers who spend the season there!

What about?... After a bad experience at the adjacent beach I found Il Molo. This structure is a reference of honesty, courtesy and organization.
I had the pleasure of meeting the Owner, an exquisite, modest and always helpful person: immediately a friend; and despite the highly advantageous prices, with his organization he manages to ensure an audience of equal stature.
All facilities are very clean. Instruments (umbrellas and sunbeds) impeccable. I got to test the EVO oil they use daily in their kitchen, of great balance and flavor.
In short, great!!
A note for the public: once parked at the convenient parking lot in front, you must find and follow the sign of the beach to avoid making unpleasant mistakes like mine.

All beaches should be like “the Pier”:
Very spaced umbrellas, clean beach, lovely sea and above all the right price: in July 1 umbrella and 2 sunbeds 20€ , deckchairs in addition 4€. It’s your strong point, keep maintaining these prices😉. Even the prices at the bar are honest, a large bottle of water 2€!
There is a paid parking x 5€ per day.
We stay in marina di mancaversa and are returning lido every day.

The real strength of this beach is undoubtedly the sea. The crystal clear water invites relaxation and swimming. The fine white sandy beach makes the landscape almost heavenly. The sea is spotless and the breathtaking view helps make the experience truly memorable.
As for the services offered by the Lido, the Rating is average with a good value for money and with the bar offering a good choice of food and drink.

Impeccable experience both for the beach and for the restaurant.
Only lido in the area (but I think also in all of Puglia) with really spaced beds and honest prices (22 euro umbrella and 2 sunbeds in August)... very kind staff and sea that certainly does not need to be commented
The restaurant is no exception, average prices and wide choice of dishes with always fresh fish!
Really to be considered as a must if you stay in the area, for the beach in high season you need to book in advance!

Leave any hope or you who enter, or rather, who try to enter. Booking in this beach is practically impossible. They never answer the phone. And when they answer, if Saturn is aligned with Jupiter, they tell you it's all full. Luckily, concessions will soon be auctioned off so they can stop being snobbish.

Despite being the busiest week of the year, the spaces of this lido allow a quiet holiday thanks to the distance between the umbrellas. Bathroom always clean even if the influx of customers is considerable. As for the restaurant definitely good quality for an establishment. Only thing to review is that the same person can not handle more than 100 seats by taking orders alone and maybe even cleaning some sea bream!
Very honest prices.

Umbrellas and sunbeds are very comfortable. Showers last little but cost less than in other beaches. Negative note for the reception and especially for the restaurant. We booked and the cutlet ordered for my daughter arrived after 50 minutes and several reports. The really rude order taker. The food was generally bad. Of the Linguine with seafood you could eat only the scarce 50 grams of pasta. The mussels weren't even very clean. A total disappointment especially for the high prices. We never went back.

The beach is really superb. Turquoise water on which you can walk for quite a long time with your feet on it. Ideal for families with children.
On the other hand, 2 big drawbacks:
- there are constantly merchants passing by with their carts and landing right in front of the deckchairs: what is the owner waiting for to make them go further?
- the service is a little long (a good 5-6 minutes to be served an espresso).
We didn't want to eat there because without a reservation it's complicated to get a table.
Apart from that, the deckchairs are nice and the setting is ideal. Count between 20 and 30 euros per day for 2 deckchairs and 1 parasol. It's not excessive.
