We were let in on a asunday when they were actually closed by the security guard who said they were open, he took our money and proceed d tomtour us out to the statue gardens and explained the cacti growing on the property. Then when...More
I thought there would be more cactus there. We didn’t stay for the night show, we did early morning, the walk led us to the dolphins and seal lions, the walk around the boats was great, and the art along the path was interesting.we even found...More
This is just a cactus garden, and not much more. I'd expected something a little more than a bunch of cactuses spread out on 5 or 6 acres of land, but that's all it really was. Minimal printed information or educational material, and the employees...More
My hubby is into cacti so we took a trip here. We paid $8 each to get in but it was NOT worth it. Since the original owner left (a foreigner) it's gone downhill. The plants were in bad condition (too much light, too little...More

If you get a chance to go see the performance at the wirikuta show you will not be disappointed. I know for sure that several of the dancers are professional and their costumes are original and amazing. What is not to love.

hello - no reservations needed for the gardens. Did not see any bikes in garden and would be surprised if they say no. Folks very accommodating. Very few people in garden while we were there and bikes would not have been an issue. Great way to continue the day and up to the marina, be sure to have lunch at the Container Restaurant, great food, service and views. there were lots of bikes outside when there. SJdelC is easy riding... enjoy.

Not sure what time they open but they close @ five pm. There is an admission charge of 8 dollars each. Cab ride will depend on your starting point. There is also a bus which goes right by the Gardens.
Hello! I will be arriving in San Jose del Cabo this Friday and am interested in visiting the Wirikuta Garden. Does anyone know if the garden it has re-opened post-Odile and what kind of condition it is in? I have not been able to find anything online regarding its status. Thanks!
