We always make it a point to visit a Catholic Church on all of our vacations. It is often a highlight of our vacation, and we have learned that 'faith' is alive and well all over the Caribbean and Mexico. In San Jose del Cabo we visited the mission church. It was lovely. The Mass was said completely in Spanish.... More

We enjoy attending church here during Christmas. They have an English service on Christmas day. Even though we are not catholic, we very much celebrating the birth of Jesus with all our friends in Cabo. The church is very old, but they have resorted is back to be so beautiful. We had a great time , we loved it . We were so excited to get pictures. We looked at the pictures, they would not let us buy just 4 like we wanted . They insisted on the fact w had to buy them all which would have cost well over $125. I really was a bummer , why on... More

This place holds the history of the town. This place needed A/C. It's in the heart of the town where the plaza and city hall is. Stores around the area offers high priced goods. There is a silver jewelry shop across the street from this church that has a high pressure tactic. I didn't like it. My hope for this... More

Went on Saturday and Sunday, nice church, good choir. After mass, many a few vendors, we had fun talking to.

it was a bit run down and not opulent like most catholic churches we visit. Construction was going on.

Attended mass here twice. Convenient for tourists and a nice walk around the plaza before or after church. Second time there was a quinceañera taking place and it was Greta to experience a bit of local culture like this. Keep in mind there is no AC and it can get hot during the day. Loved the mural of the missionary... More

This is a nice place to sit and reflect for a bit. On Thursday nights there is an art walk 2 blocks behind the church.

I'm writing this from a going to mass perspective, not a sightseeing perspective. I never thought of the church that way. It's an old mission style church. We went to the 12:00pm bilingual mass. The readings are in English, but not the homily. There was nothing outstanding, good or bad about the church. The people were friendly and we got... More
