Our Tour Food with David (also known as “Shorty”) Was Simply Amazing! Shorty Was A Fantastic Guide That Provided Us With The Local Experience. Immediately After Meeting Him, I Knew He Was Passionate About His Job And Had A Personable Personality. Throughout The Entire Tour, Shorty Proved He Was Fun, Informative, and Very Knowledgeable. We Toured Local Restaurants and Food Vendors As We Gained An Insight Into The Mexican Culture. Shorty Even Told Us The Locations Of Shops Where We Could Get Reasonable Priced Souvenirs. Nonetheless, The Food We Tasted Was So Authentic And Tasty - Tacos, Ice Cream, Churros, and Tequila. It Was So Good That We Returned The Next Day To Get More Of Our Favorites. When Shorty Spotted Us The Next Day, He Happily Escorted Us To The Restaurant Where We Were Able To Get Our Smoked Marlin And Shrimp Tacos. He Even Spoke With The Owner And Waiter To Ensure Our Experience Was As Good As The Day Before. Overall, Thanks To Shorty, I Considered This Tour To Be More Than A Food Tour. This Tour Is A Great Way To Gain An Insight Into The Culture And Eat Authentic Mexican Tacos. I Would Highly Recommend This Tour with David (also known as “Shorty)!

This tour takes you on the local side of Cabo San Lucas. We sampled tacos, tamales, corn in a cup, Mexican ice cream, more (seafood) tacos, and then even more tacos!!! When they tell you to come hungry, they mean it! We met David at the designated place, and since we were having trouble finding parking, he jumped in the car and helped us out. It ended up only being me and my husband, and David kept us entertained and taught us about the local culture and food. The tour ends with tequila tasting....we aren’t drinkers but loved learning about the tequila industry and how it evolved. We enjoyed the food so much that we returned the next night to repeat one of the taco places—Los Claros (seafood tacos). If you’re in Cabo, you don’t want to miss this tour. It was our favorite night in Cabo!!!

Mario was our tour guide and he was so patient and awesome. He took the time to explain the area, the food at each place, the best restaurants for different things, and very knowledgeable of the history and culture. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience of new food and personalized service that Mario provided.

Must do when in Cabo. Fresh ingredients make delicious food coupled with Chef Francisco’s expertise and hospitality - best way to spend an afternoon off the resort. The fresh out of the oven tortillas from the tortilleria were just the start of a delicious experience.

We had an amazing time on this tour! Great food, even better tequila, and many laughs to go around. Our tour guide David (Shorty) was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us many recommendations away from the touristy parts of Cabo. Highly recommend.. bring your your appetites!!!

Our tour guide Miguel was really nice and welcoming. He taught us a lot about the history of Mexico. The tacos were good and the workers at all the restaurants were nice! It ended up being a little over 3 hours + the tequila tasting

David was an awesome tour guide. Each restaurant he took us to offered us deliciously authentic food. We also stopped for ice cream, which made the tour even more perfect. Our tour ended with a surprise tequila tasting and we couldn't be happier with our choice during our visit to Cabo. We will do it again.

We met Francisco @ the "square" at the market in downtown San Jose del Cabo.He was very friendly & informative. A couple from the same state joined us (5 in total) After getting all the ingredients from the market, Francisco drove first to the tortilla store to pick up freshly made ones, a VERY important part of life & food in Mexico. We then headed to Francisco's house & were warmly greeted by his family. We started the cooking making our Margherita's,lol! Yumm! then proceeded to learn about the food we were cutting, slicing & mashing in the mortar. So interesting. The final entree; chicken mole enchiladas were amazing. You can "vote" on which protein your group will eat. The salsas' ranged from mild to hot & Francisco made sure to let you know which one was which!A fun,enjoyable day. Its the best way to spend a day w/ an awesome host ,(especially when it's too hot outside) Thank you to Francisco & his family!

We had a fantastic time in San José del Cabo with our guide Hector who made this tour not only about great food, but turned it into a complete cultural experience! We were warmly greeted in all places Hector took us and this turned out to be a highlight in our trip. If you were hesitating, I assure you that this tour will exceed your expectations…. We did the private San Jose del Cabo taco tasting tour with Hector the " ConnHector" aka the Connect".
As a guide, Hector was just the best. He didn't only just do à taco tour for us but à complete San Jose tour by showing us and explaining everything we came across
We also stop for à tequila tasting , which was a incredible and interesting experience.
All taco were delicious and so authenticit made by local people.
Definitly the higlight of our trip and Definitly recomend

Agree with the previous answer that it’s less than a couple of miles total. We had a 3 year old and I wound up carrying her the last bit. But I still highly recommended it!
