4 hour trip 45 minutes of Snorkeling! Your paying for a boat ride and a mediocre lunch at best. The 45 minutes in the water was great and the staff seemed pretty good until the trip was nearly done. They came around with a tip...More
We bought this trip off TripAdvisor for $50 a person. The resort was selling it for $79. A great deal for $50. The boat was clean and the customer service was the best. They greet you with a rum punch when you get on the...More
This boat is dated but very clean thanks to its awesome crew, restroom and deck is equally clean. ground deck is where they have the dinner served.. it more in terms of picnic lunch type setup... you pay 50$ and you expect to get a...More
Very organized sunset cruise of the arch in Cabo San Lucas. The alcohol was included and they crew members were very prompt in offering the margaritas and punch. The dinner was really good and we all commented that the meat was excellent-it was traditional Mexico...More
There was loud music all through more soon to a night club.
We got to see a few whales and that part was satisfactory. There was no explanation of feeding habits general history as one normally gets on nature
Oriented tours though
Easy to find meeting location at the marina. Boat was a big catamaran with a diving platform at water level. It was mostly clean, but showing wear throughout. The bathroom was small and smelled like an unclean outhouse.
The trip to the reef was enjoyable....More
The best part of it was the view aside from that everything was BORING, food was bad, their drinks was bad only their margaritas. It the cheapest tour boat and the hotels tries to give you that especially when you go on their timeshare presentation....More
Didn’t get to snorkel and didn’t get a refund. The food was terrible soggy tuna salad with mayonnaise potato salad and crackers.
Upon returning from not snorkeling, one of the crew members slipped and said that they were advised prior that there would be bad...More

It is family friendly but you get what you pay for...I'd recommend looking for another venue. We were NOT impressed with the food or the drinks. The views were amazing but you can get that on any boat. It's all about the experience and our party of 8 wasn't at all impressed.
Oceanus Mini Sub – I have mixed feeling on this. It was a good size boat, with gd size bathrooms, open bar, nachos, music. They combined arch sightseeing, whale watching, snorkeling, and mini sub. We paid for the mini sub. I booked online and got a discount. The mini-sub is like a scooter with a bubble head. You sit on the scooter and there is tank that supplies air to the bubble head so you can breathe normally when you are under the water. It is kind of neat. They have 3 guys taking care of...More

Good info Thx.
My 24 hours in Cabo (11 Replies)
Safety is the never ending topic out here and my opinion remains the same. For me the dangers are a) the sun and b) the sidewalks. Pay attention to where you're walking. I spent 11 days in Los Barriles and 5 in San Jose with no plan to visit Cabo. The one day I woke up and realized I couldn't leave the area without going on a cruise. Being out on one of the cats is my favourite thing to do. So I contacted one of my best friends who lives in Cabo and told her I was jumping on the Desierto...More

Great read! Some super info here and THANKS! So glad it was another great trip-but that's weird about not seeing the sunset from the Pacific! Question-did you post on the LB pages about your time there? I hope so, since it's one of my favorite places, and I will be there for a couple of days (at my friend's Hotel Los Pescadores) very soon! TFS!
Oceanus Mini|Sub Dive Tour (1 Reply)
Has anybody booked this tour online, and how far is it from the Barcelo los Cabos Palace,

I haven't done it, but I think it departs from the Cabo marina, 20 miles from the Barcelo in SanJose. If you go up one level to the Los Cabos forum and put "Oceanus" in the Search bar, you can read some forum threads. Oceanus also has some reviews in the Things to Do section. Good luck gathering information.
