Everything was great with Happy Flights Cabo Parasailing!
Kim met us in the dock on time. She escorted us the water taxi where we taken out to the parasailing boat.
The men were very kind and gracious. Very helpful when transferring us from one boat to another ensuring our safety the whole time.
The flight time was approx 10 minutes but with how amazing the views for the Cabo coast line and the arch it was all gonna go by too fast anyway!
We loved the fact that even though the boat was full other “flyers” the water taxi came back to collect us right after we were done so we could continue on with our day and not wait for the others to complete their parasailing experience.
I would highly recommend Kim and Happy Flights Cabo. It felt small and personal and not like all these other big tour companies where you are just another body on a boat.

Such an Amazing experience from start to finish! We felt very comfortable and safe for our first time parasailing and we’ll definitely recommend Happy Flights to family and friends. When we come back to Cabo, we will use them again. So much fun!

Parasailing through Happy Flights was cheaper than a lot of other vendors, timely, and fun! There was a small issue with booking as the site was not allowing for additional reservations (we had a group of 7) but they worked quickly to get us all booked and on the boat for sailing. Our driver Danielle was awesome, he was funny, personable and helped us overcome some of the fear. This was my first time parasailing and I'm afraid of heights but I did it! It was an amazing experience for my friends and I.

VERY DISAPPOINTED. We chose this company based on their reviews. In the confirmation email there was nothing that said that an adult could not go out to the flight boat with the children. It was hidden in their FAQs that if an adult wanted to accompany a child, There was an additional $20 US per person, that would be charged for the ride. And on top of that, Victor waited until the taxi boat was literally in front of us to tell us there was a charge to accompany our teen children. As mentioned before it seems like he’s very good at the bait and switch game .

The Happy Flights' policy regarding passengers is clearly stated - nothing is 'hidden away'. The website:
"Parasailers always have first priority on space but if there is room on the boat passengers may accompany fliers and enjoy the boat ride. The charge is $20 per person, payable in cash at the gate. Contact us before your flight.'
The customer portal, which the confirmation letter tells each person to read "before the day of their parasailing":
**Can someone come with me just for the boat ride?**
Depends! Parasailers of course get priority, but if there's room on the boat for the time you've chosen then a passenger is OK. The charge for the trip is $20 (or 400 pesos) payable at the gate. Just give us a phone call on 624 114 0446 before the day of your parasailing and we'll let you know if there's room.
The $20 is a nominal charge - the passenger enjoys a ride through the Marina, out into the bay, and a fast zoom through the water. Probably better than paying for an expensive boat tour of the bay! Every day we'd have at least one customer contact us to say they're happy to pay the fee for someone to accompany them and want to know if we have room. Unless it's at peak time, Easter for example, we're pleased to allow them to bring a friend or family member.
We ask customers who contact us about the age of the flyers and of course if they're young children we tell them the fee is waived. That process has worked fine so far, until we had a customer who did not contact us and simply turned up at the gate with teenagers and demanded to be taken out free of charge.
I won't allow my staff member to be abused and shouted at. I'll monitor the situation and if there's a repeat then Happy Flights will consider doing what most other operators do and simply not allow passengers.

This is a great option for parasailing in Cabo San Lucas. It's a small operation (1 boat/crew). They were able to reschedule our trip last minute which was really nice. It was originally scheduled for later in the week. We had to cancel and were able to move it to the same day we called.
Pros: Friendly fun and helpful crew.
Drawbacks: They don't offer hotel pick-up.
One final note: We got this for our kids (17 and 18). Since there was space, we were allowed to go with them on the boat. However, this may not always be possible. We (non-participants) had to pay a small fee to the water taxi to get out to the boat. The water taxi fee is already included in the cost for those that are parasailing.

I wrote the following email to the head of Happy Sails, but never received a response from her. When she later sent me an email asking me to leave a review, I decided to copy and paste that email here:
My husband and I had an excellent time parasailing, but booked a double parasail. Right before it was time to strap us in, we were asked for our weights, which combined are under the 420 lb weight limit. We were told that because of the wind that day we would have to fly single instead. And then we were charged for two single flights, even though we were well under the advertised limit and had no choice in the matter. Of course we wanted to be safe and followed what the staff on the boat told us to do without hesitation, but also feel like this was false advertising and a classic bait and switch. I don't know if this happens a lot with Happy Sails or not, but it would be good to indicate that this change could occur on your website so that others will be aware. Other parasailing companies in your area had a combined weight limit of 500 lbs but we didn't think it would be an issue for us so booked with you due to your excellent reviews.

My wife and I did the parasail tour on Feb 1 and had a great time. We were up for about 11-12 minutes and had wonderful views of the ocean, beaches and Lands End. Half way through our trip I noticed a blow spout almost directly below us and a few seconds later a humpback whale did a full breach for us, which was caught on our Go Pro camera that I was using. Fantastic video. Also, in case you do not have a Go Pro but would like to use one, I saw a sign on the boat stating they rent the camera's for $25. The feeling after you lift off and get up 300 feet is so peaceful and tranquil. When you get to the marina, they have a water taxi boat at the dock which takes you out to the parasailing boat. Our captain and first mate for our trip did a great job in explaining everything to us (even though we have done parasailing in the past), and the pictures they took (for free) turned out very good. If you are driving down to the marina and plan to park, we found out that the very large shopping mall (Plaza Puerto Paraiso) has extremely good pricing. It cost $1 USD for four hours to park our car in their underground parking garage which has lots of spaces (it is 2 or 3 levels). We followed the signs inside the mall which had one stating "Marina" and an arrow pointing the direction to go, and when we exited the doors we had to take maybe 5 steps and we were in the Marina. I also really liked their policy on not charging your credit card until you actually take the flight in case of weather

Very fun time. We were met at the dock by a very nice guy that hung out and talked with us about Cabo while we waited for the other family to show up so we could head out. He told us some history and talked about different things in the area. He was waiting at the gate at 9:00 so we didn’t have to wait for anyone except the other family. We headed out shortly after 9:00 to great weather and 3 cruise ships out in the water which was great to see up close. The other family on our trip had 2 little girls and they had such a good time. It was fun watching them. My wife and I went up last and enjoyed every minute of it. The captain was great and you can see the skill it takes to properly land someone on the stern of a boat in a sitting position in choppy water. He did great on every person that came in. It is so peaceful and quiet and what neat views. We had never done this before but have been to Cabo numerous times and always wanted to. I read reviews after looking online and settled with Happy Flights Cabo and we are so glad we did! Highly recommend to first timers and those that have went before. Also it was Whale migration at the time and we were lucky enough to have a whale come in the vicinity while we were in the air and we caught a glimpse of it. I guess an added bonus to the trip!
Thank you Happy Flights!!

Great staff. They were professional, on time, and provided us with an extra added tour of the arch, beaches, and sea lion colony. Great trip at a great price. Tip them well they deserve it.

My husband and I have enjoyed our experience with Happy Flights. In fact we are repeat customers,. Anytime we plan to visit Cabo we make sure to book our parasailing excursion with them. They are extremely professional, organized and most importantly SAFE. We would definitely recommend them to friends, family or anyone thinking about experiencing parasailing.

Hi there. The maximum weight we can have under the chute is about 420 pounds. That's the total for the flight, not per person. I say 'about' because a lot depends on the conditions on the day - how calm the sea is, the wind direction, the wind strength etc. We also have a minimum weight for a flight, which is 110 pounds. If you're close to the limit I suggest you give us a phone call to discuss and we can tell you the best way to proceed with the booking. Please check out our website, at the top of this page, and you'll get info on this and many other aspects of parasailing with Happy Flights.

Do you start the parasailing adventure from a boat or from the beach?
Written January 30, 2020
I'm sorry for the delay I have been out of the country. The launch is from the back of the boat. You are hydraulically lifted gently up and reeled in.

Hi Angelica! Children from the age of 5 can fly tandem with someone 16 years of age or older. For a solo flight the parasailer must be at least 16 years. Often the key thing with children though is the weight. We need at least 110 pounds under the chute, whether it's a single or double flight. If you have any concerns or questions about either age or weight then please drop me an email and we can discuss.

Yes, the Cabo Port Captain now allows triple flights! There's still a weight restriction so It's an ideal option for an adult and two kids or for three teenagers. The total cost for three people is only $130. Check out the Happy Flights website for more details on triple flights.

Hola.

Is there a weight limit for the tandem
parasail?
Written June 25, 2018
I just checked the website and it says 420 lbs. total. So if your combined weight is over that you can each go solo. It also says in there when you are booking it that if you are over the limit they may be able to use a different type of rigging. Call them, they speak English and have great customer service.

Only if you want to. We didn’t, but they said you could request a “toe dip” if that was something you wanted.
