Our whale watching trip was amazing!!! when in Cabo book with Cabo Adventures for everything whale watching. The crew was 5 star. Jacob I named him the Whale Whisperer because every time he tried to educate us on whales one would appear This had been on my bucket list for months and would recommend this crew because they are knowledgeable and respected the ocean and the whale habitat. Thank you Jacob, Wilbert, Joel, Luis and Mario.

We had a great time! It was our first time whale watching and we were not disappointed. We got the chance to see multiple humpback whales. They came very close to the boats and our guide had a lot of wonderful information to share.

Stop what you’re doing and BOOK THIS EXCURSION. We cannot say enough amazing things about this excursion and Cabo Trek. We traveled to Cabo very last minute which meant a lot of tours, excursions and day trips were already booked. We called around to many companies to try and book a trip up to La Paz to swim with the whale sharks and we’re feeling pretty defeated with everything booked. Swimming with the whale sharks was our goal and dream for this trip!! Cabo Trek was so awesome to give us a glimmer of hope and see what they could do. Amazingly enough, they found 2 spots for us and we were so excited! We left for La Paz at 7am and stopped for a great breakfast at about the halfway point. Very good! Bring cash and take some burritos to go to snack on later in the day! When we got to La Paz we had a little time to kill before the boat left so we grabbed coffee in town. The boat typically holds 13 people (including captain and guide) but due to COVID there were only 6 of us (crew included). This meant the tour was very intimate and personal. We had to wait for several hours to enter into the bay where the whale sharks are, as it’s very protected with strict rules. This was no problem as it was a nice day and we hung out on the beach in the sand and relaxed! Be patient during this time as it is NOT the tours fault. The government of Mexico has placed strict rules involving the whale sharks and only so many boats are allowed in at a time. Swimming with the whale sharks was incredible! They are so beautiful and quite fast so be prepared to swim and swim hard! They provided snorkels, fins and wetsuits. There was also beverages and some small snacks on the boat. I cannot describe how incredible this experience was as you should experience it for yourself. We were also pleasantly surprised to be visited by a humpback whale!! After our time on the water was up we were taken to a taco restaurant in La Paz which was once again great!! Our day lasted about 12 hours! Plan accordingly and go with the flow. The animals and wait times are unpredictable. Pack snacks, reef safe sunscreen, towels, water, cash, your go pro and a change of clothes for later. We were so so so impressed by this trip and can’t say enough positive things about it and Cabo Trek! Lovely owner and great conversation on the drive to and from La Paz. We would not hesitate to book another excursion again through Cabo Trek! SERIOUSLY BOOK IT!!!!

Review of: Scuba Diving
Great staff, safe and friendly. Know perfectly the locations and diving spots. Adapted to our schedule and different levels. Gordo Banks was amazing and we got super lucky with a school of more than 150 hammerhead sharks ! Will definitely come back.

Cabo Trek is one of only two companies who partner with the scientific community to share data, whale locations, etc and comply with all regulations. Philipp was very responsive in the communications leading up to the trip, and Carlos and Freddie were an incredible guide/captain team. We were lucky enough to see several full breaches as well as a mother and calf. Boat was clean and comfortable.
