CABO TREK is a small company dedicated to family friendly watersport activities such as Whale Watching, Scuba Diving & Snorkeling. Join our small groups and enjoy the Ocean experience like never before with our Marine Biologists and PADI certified Instructors.

WHALE WATCHING:

The only educational WHALE WATCHING tour in Los Cabos with a certified marine biologist and underwater audio/video technology onboard. Come visit us at our marina storefront inside the Wyndham Hotel! Perfect for families and photographers alike, who would like an unforgettable experience with the largest animals on earth.

SCUBA DIVING & SNORKELING:

Scuba Diving is an incredible experience in Cabo San Lucas. Our PADI certified Instructors will take care of you during the whole duration of the tour. Weather you want to explore the Cabo San Lucas Marine Park, the Corridor or eventually the Marine Park of Cabo Pulmo, we always try to find the best solutions for your needs. All the tours are totally private guaranteeing you dedicated attention by the instructores to make the experience as enjoyable, safe & fun as possible.

WHALE SHARK SNORKELING: by joining us for one of our research trips, participants get the opportunity to interact with the whale sharks in their natural habit, learn about the scientific research that is being undertaken, contribuite to the conservation of these majestic sharks and have a great time doing it.

MAGDALENA BAY 2 DAY EXCURSION: Lopez Mateos as known as Magdalena Bay is one of the few places in the world where you can have a very intimate whale watching experience: the whales over the years have become very used to have curious humans coming from very far to see them! 2 days tour with overnight stay and 2 whale watching tours.

You'll be inspired by the endless knowledge our university trained marine biologist and PADI Certified Instructors, Frankie and Philipp, boasts as he shares all there is to know about Los Cabos Nature.

Rest assured that your tour: Whale Watching, Diving or Snorkeling will be nothing short of the experience of a lifetime and our professional photographer is there to capture every moment of your trek.

If you're feeling adventurous we're happy to organize special, private tours of whale watching and your choice of scuba diving or snorkeling.

A very fun trip. Went with the girlfriend midmorning reset out. At first we went at the sea of Cortez but didn't see any whales so decided to go out to the Pacific and stayed out longer and followed of a pod of whales. Stayed out longer because it took so long to find them. It was the very end... More

We visited at the end of whale season & had a really windy day. It was our 5 year old's first time on the ocean & she was scared (with 10 ft swells) but we felt completely safe & spotted a number of humpbacks, some at close range (but far enough away to be safe). Our guide was incredibly friendly... More

Thanks for your review! We are glad to hear that you still enjoyed the tour despite the rough ocean conditions. At Cabo Trek we always try to give you the best possible experience even when the weather is playing against us, and the fact that we still got to see some whales surely helped mitigate the harsh conditions. We surely... More

I booked a tour two days before I arrived In Cabo for something to do while hubby was on a fishing trip with the boys. I was a bit hesitant because the mid April date is the end of the whale viewing season in this area. Within 30 minutes of leaving the marina we spotted a mother humpback whale and... More

Thanks for your great review! Yes indeed towards the end of the season chances to have a great tour like yours slowly fade away. We are happy that we could help your crossing of your list this amazing experience. We suggest a trip between February and March to Magdalena Bay to pet the gray whales or eventually push it even... Chose this because it was 2 for 1 with the Passport, and it was well worth it. There were 6 of us on a boat that holds 20, so it was very personal. Frankie was the biologist/guide, and was first to admit he didn't know everything, but knew enough to keep us enthralled as we watched a grown blue whale... More

Thanks for your great review! And for sure we are glad to hear the tour has met your expectations. I see you were on one of the lucky tours that encountered blue whales: well what to say? this season was full of surprises for all of us! Philipp went out of his way to try and find us a whale on a quiet day at the end of the season and eventually we spotted a Blue Whale off Cabo. He took some drone footage of the Blue and a large pod of Dolphins which was amazing and a real treasure to keep and look at in the... More

Thanks for your review! Finding a Blue Whale inside the bay of Cabo San Lucas was a truly amazing experience! In many years here in Cabo it is the first time that this happens! The season 2015-2016 was characterized by this great variety of different marine life present in the area and although we saw fewer humpbacks we were blessed... More

We went Whale Watching almost at the end of the season - but still we saw lots of whales, dolphins, sea turtles and obviously sea lions. The staff was more than well informed - they shared a lot of knowledge, answered each and every question and had interesting and funny stories to share. Most important for us - they were... More

Took my family on a whale watching tour with Cabo Trek. Their office is located off the Tesoro Hotel lobby and was easy to find. I found the boat and equipment to be in good condition, their boat had a canopy so we could stay out of the full sun. Tour guide was very knowledgeable about whale's and marine animals... More

This was our first trip to Cabo so of course we wanted to see it all, and we nearly did! We spent the better part of an hour in the company of a beautiful Blue Whale, we saw seals, turtles, and manta rays that sprang from the water flapping their wings! Thanks for the great review! The variety on animals on display this year in Cabo during the whale watching season was absolutely fantastic! Although we saw relatively less Humpbacks we got to see animals that usually don't show their presence in Cabo: fin whales, blue whales, pilot whales, orcas, sea turtles, elephant seals! We should rename this tour wildlife tour... More

Cabo Trek offer something very different, and I really appreciated that difference. They respect the ocean, they respect the wales and they really know their stuff; the guide was knowledgeable as well as friendly, and he explained behaviour, migration patterns and so much more....We didn't 'chase' - we didn't need to. He knew where to go and when to hang... More
