The first morning of our vacation, the manager (Andres) of the pool bar/restaurant at our VRBO (Misiones del Cabo resort) sold the 4 of us (2 middle-aged couples) on this excursion. He offered us several different packages (different boats, with different amenities), and this was "the best one" (also the most expensive of the ones he had on offer). We all decided that'd we would "go big", but I had some reservations ("is this another Cabo scam?", etc.).
Fortunately, it was very nice! While I can't compare it to other similar "sunset cruises" (this was my first), it was quite enjoyable. It's a 3hr tour around "El Arco" on a large sailboat, with an open bar, charcuterie hors d'oeuvres, and dinner (surf n' turf) all provided. We had great weather (Early December), the drinks were tasty, the sunset was beautiful, and dinner was pretty good. During the cruise, a photographer moved amongst the guests, taking pictures along the way (available for purchase at the end of the cruise).
This was not a party-boat vibe (part of the reason we chose this one); instead, it was mostly couples or groups of older friends. I've given this a 4-star rating only because I don't have anything to compare it to (maybe there are better cruises?), but it exceeded my (admittedly low) expectations.
