We had the absolute best experience with Booze Cruise Cabo on February 7, 2025! Our group of 7 adults booked a private charter on their 60-foot yacht for a four-hour whale watching tour and sunset cruise, and it was hands down one of the most incredible experiences we've ever had.
The yacht was immaculate—spacious, luxurious, and perfect for relaxing while taking in the stunning views of the Sea of Cortez. The crew was fantastic from start to finish: super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. They made sure we were comfortable, had everything we needed, and even shared interesting facts about the whales and local area.
Now, let’s talk about the whales—WOW! We saw several whales jumping and playing right alongside our boat. Seeing these massive, beautiful creatures up close in their natural environment was nothing short of magical. It felt like they were putting on a private show just for us! The crew knew exactly where to take us for the best views, and we never felt rushed or crowded.
As if that wasn’t enough, the sunset was absolutely breathtaking. Cruising along the coast with the sky painted in shades of pink, orange, and purple was the perfect way to end the day. The entire experience felt like a dream, and we couldn’t have asked for a better adventure.

On Friday, February 7, 2025, I had an unforgettable experience of booking a private whale watching tour and sunset cruise with Booze Cruise Cabo. We chartered their stunning 60-foot yacht for a four-hour adventure, and it was nothing short of spectacular!
From the moment we boarded, the crew went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The yacht itself was luxurious, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed to relax and enjoy the ride. It felt like we were living in a dream, cruising through the beautiful waters of Cabo in style.
But the highlight of the trip? The whales! We saw several whales jumping and playing alongside our boat right in front of the Sea of Cortez. It was absolutely magical to witness these majestic creatures so close—an experience that photos and videos simply can't capture. Best referral by friends for a private sunset cruise with Jim and his crew!
First the email booking communication was great! Prompt reply to questions, easy to book and felt organized and professional. We were a group of 3 couples…but they have all different size boats so check out for any size party.
Well worth the price! A crew member was there to greet us promptly at our arrival time at dock. Then Jim’s partner arrived to greet us on the boat before we left with crew—attention to detail and being sure we had everything we needed was much appreciated! The boat was spotless and perfect space for 3 couples! Captain Francisco, 1st mate Eric and Ulysses took care of our every need! Bar had everything you could want-do add on the shrimp plate -amazing!! We got an added bonus to seeing amazing sunset…we saw hump back whales too! Oh and the pictures they take are the best!! Sent within days and Jim follows up to get them to you on email again just to be sure. We did take our own pictures too. Loved the professionalism, enthusiasm, and felt safe and well cared for on this trip. We had a guest who was worried how she’d do on water…they took great care to the point she raved about and would do this again! My husband arranged this and I’ve told him it’s going to have to be done every time we visit now!!
We had already scheduled a fishing trip with another company..but plan to use Jim and his crews for that on future trips as well! Thank you for helping us make priceless memories!

We had an incredible day on the water!
The boat was beautiful and extremely well kept. The staff were super friendly and the lunch they served us was restaurant quality.
We must have seen 30-40 different whale sightings.
100% will do it again.

I had the most incredible afternoon on this boat charter! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure we had a fantastic time on the water. The highlight of the trip was seeing whales up close—it was absolutely breathtaking! The captain positioned the boat perfectly so we could watch them in their natural habitat without disturbing them.
To top it all off, they prepared a delicious lunch on board, which made the experience even more special. The food was fresh and tasty, and enjoying a meal while surrounded by stunning ocean views was unforgettable.

We had a great time! Blue Sky was awesome, we anchored out by the beautiful scenery and my wife, 3 daughters & I had a blast playing in the water and hanging out on the lilly pad. we also enjoyed the snorkeling equipment they provided as well. Would definitely recommend!

This was my second trip on this boat and our family from age 24-88 all had a blast!
They provided food and drinks unlimited and took professional photos for us that were included and the floats they have are huge all of us got to swim at sea and enjoy the beautiful boating in Cabo!!! Very good people working as the crew and very kind and helpful! Excellent service!! It was a birthday and they even provided a birthday cake 🎂

This was an exceptional trip from the beginning, with the crew providing excellent service throughout. Our whale watching and sunset cruise was a great time. The views were amazing. We saw the famous arch, had photos taken, saw many whales and enjoyed a lovely sunset, followed by a cruise into the marina by night. Would recommend this Los Cabos excursion!

We thoroughly enjoyed our whale watching/sunset cruise. It included a tour to Land’s End and the famous arch, and we saw lots of whales before getting in location to enjoy a stunning sunset over the Pacific Ocean. Then we cruised in slowly to enjoy the lights of the beach and marina. The boat was excellent and the crew was very attentive. Would recommend as an excursion when in Los Cabos.
