Amazing trip on the Solmar V liveaboard. We had amazing encounters with giant manta ray that just love the bubbles hitting them from below like a spa! Other amazing sharks, hammerheads, silky sharks and Galapogos sharks as well as the reef sharks. Worth the long drive overnight from Cabo San Lucas.

We visited Socorro at the end of November 2015. Unfortunately we were caught up in the tail end of a hurricane that delayed our departure. The crew kept us regularly updated and handled the situation well. It was a very very rough crossing but the diving was worth it. The Giant Mantas were magnificent! The crew on the Rocio Del... Socorro is an island which is part of the Revillagigedo Archipelago, including three other islands, but only two dived. Like Cocos and Galapagos, this place are open sea dives, with possible current, mainly for divers with a litlle experience. Not begginers. The goal of this trip is mainly to have unique (in the world) encounter with Giant Manta Rays. You... More

I recently returned from a 9 day trip to the Revillagigedo Islands on the Nautilus Explorer and all I can say is Wow! I choose this destination because my main objective was to dive with the Giant Pacific Mantas. These islands seemed to be the place to not only see them, but to have very close encounters with them. They... More

Unbelievable diving with all the large sea-life I have only dreamed of seeing. Even though our trip was cut short due to an approaching hurricane, we saw mantas, hammerheads, dolphins, whale sharks, and so much more.

Fantastic, just fantastic, no need to say more! Started out from Capo San Lucas at 7/2-16 with Southern Sport. Had 2 days diving at San Benedicto Island, 3 days at Rica Patina and 1 day at Socorro Island. Our staff at the boat were the best ever. We were so spoiled by the end of the week. Nice rooms, good... This was my 9th dive trip to the Revillagigedos Archipelago (aka Socorro). The previous 8 trips were aboard the Nautilus Explorer. This was my first experience aboard the Nautilus Belle Amie (NBA), which has been operating since about March, 2015. The NBA is a large spacious boat that can accommodate 30 divers (we had 27 on this trip). My single... More

This rating refers to the superior room category of the vessel "Nautilus Belle Amie" on its Socorro bound lifeaboard tour. There is 3 categories (stateroom, superior and suite) and superior is the middle category. This ship deserves a 5 star rating, mainly for the great crew, the safety standards, professional operations, the spacy layout and a lot of amenities around... More
