I went there to dive on board of Solmar V, unforgettable trip: big mantas played with us and enjoyed our bubbles, dolphins appeared out of the blue; we met curious silkies, Galapagos sharks looking grumpy, visited 'shark store' on Roca Partida, where small white tip sharks occupied small shelves, big white tips lounged on larger ones... If you like sea... More

These are simply incredible dive sites for advanced divers. Giant Pacific mantas and sharks are the drawing card here. Their supporting actors are dolphins and whales. Be prepared for strong horizontal and vertical currents.

This was my 10th trip to the Revillagigedos Archipelago (RA); my 9th trip on the Nautilus Explorer (NE) (the other trip was last year on the Nautilus Belle Amie). We left San Jose del Cabo in the evening from the Hotel Ganzo. This is a new port of departure with much less activity than the past docking location in Cabo... More

I went to Socorro Islands on SOLMAR V. The crew was fantastic going the extra mile to make our trip unforgettable. Great accommodation and delicious food. Diving was spectacular! We interacted with mantas and dolphins and we got to see at least seven different species of sharks during the trip.

We have just returned from a week of scuba diving on the Nautilus Explorer with a fantastic crew. The diving was phenomenal! I am a beginner diver but found that I was still able to keep up with all the higher level divers. The dive masters (Yann, Rodolfo, Arturo and Luis) were so helpful and encouraging. We saw giant mantas,... More

The Socorro Island Trip the trip of a lifetime. Everything about the boat, the crew, and the diving was great. We traveled by shuttle to the El Ganzo Hotel during the afternoon of Dec 5. The boat was docked immediately in front of the hotel, very convenient. The Ganzo Hotel provided a hospitality room for our luggage and a meeting... More

Amazing trip on the Solmar V liveaboard. We had amazing encounters with giant manta ray that just love the bubbles hitting them from below like a spa! Other amazing sharks, hammerheads, silky sharks and Galapogos sharks as well as the reef sharks. Worth the long drive overnight from Cabo San Lucas.

We visited Socorro at the end of November 2015. Unfortunately we were caught up in the tail end of a hurricane that delayed our departure. The crew kept us regularly updated and handled the situation well. It was a very very rough crossing but the diving was worth it. The Giant Mantas were magnificent! The crew on the Rocio Del... Socorro is an island which is part of the Revillagigedo Archipelago, including three other islands, but only two dived. Like Cocos and Galapagos, this place are open sea dives, with possible current, mainly for divers with a litlle experience. Not begginers. The goal of this trip is mainly to have unique (in the world) encounter with Giant Manta Rays. You... More
