Where to start? I have played most of the top destination golf courses in the United States with a foursome up to a 60-player group. I have played in Cabo three times since 2019 including Cabo Del Sol, Quivira, Palmilla, Cabo Real, Puerto Los Cabos and recently Rancho San Lucas. I have not played Diamante or El Dorado but have friends on this most recent trip who have.
Rancho San Lucas is my top pick just slightly above Quivira. The course design is excellent. The views are beautiful. The facilities (range, restaurant, pro shop) are well thought out. The service from bag drop, starter(s), comfort stations (wow, the food is good) is top shelf. A private club sometimes does not know how to handle a large group. The Rancho staff did an excellent job.
We had 21 of us play a practice round on August 5th. We played two tournament rounds at Quivira with the entire group (48) on the following days. The group loves Quivira but the 21 of us have convinced the others that Rancho must be one of the tournament round days next year.
The consensus is Rancho San Lucas , Quivira and Diamante are the three top choices of the entire group.

The course is subject to very high costal winds most of the fall through winter months.
We were a part of the large group of golfers in late February of 2023, many of whom including myself considered our rounds to be the worst golf experiences of our lives. We were told that these 40+ MPH winds are not unusual for most of the year.
The course itself is a beautiful layout. However, it has clearly been designed in such a way a to create the maxiximum number of home sites.

Yes, this golf course is located on the coast of Baja Peninsula and can experience winds. Like most golf courses, especially in a resort town, golf courses are built to sell real estate.

What a great experience we had today. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We are staying at Rancho San Lucas and prepaid for a round of golf before coming. The price included a choice of rental clubs, $50 gift certificate at the pro shop or same day replay round. The practice range was included as well as all the food and drinks at the two “shark” shacks that were well positioned on the course. This course is well designed and fair to all skill levels. Will definitely play again next time we make it back to Cabo.

Our range and food it's included while you are playing with or without the packages, good to hear you stopped in our Shark Shaks! See you on your next visit!

What a place! what a Golf course!!! manicured and prime. A scenery that is way beyond any course in Cabo. The course design as well as the dunes surrounding it, makes this place breathtaking. Everybody in the staff was polite and friendly.
I want to point out that Jose Luis in ventas was a pleasure to meet. He gave us a tour of the place and explained thouroughly the developement.

The Pebble Beach of Los Cabo… This course was a suggested golf course from one of our local friends and wow, it did NOT disappoint. In fact, it is now one of favorites.
Every aspect of this course is perfection - The service, the staff, the course design, the course condition itself and the littlest of details met, that you may or may not notice.

This course is horribly windy. It is built on pacific coast sand dunes and extremely exposed to sand & wind. The electric carts are an insult to drive plus ~ no windshield😂Not worth the drive out to this course. There are many far better courses in the area.

We played Cabo del Sol and this one as well. if you get a chance to play this course after 2:00pm and get the pacific sunset you will not be disappointed. We played 17 and 18 when the sun was coming down and blew our minds. The course in amazing as well. The Contruction can be a little distracting but everything else make for it. Overall a great round of GOLF! Also, it is way cooler than the other courses in Cabo but very windy as well.

At the top of golf experiences for me. Course was in fantastic shape, greens firm, fairways spongy. Layout is excellent. Holes not on top of each other and great views of the water. Service was very good. Rental clubs were brand new Taylor Made sim2's. Station after hole 6 served hot dogs/tamales, one at hole 17 served tacos. Great practice range/green was great also. Everything is pricey so try and bring a glove/balls. Not great selection of Merchandise either. But im nitpicking. If you have a chance, play.

Regarding our merchandise, our store usually has a wide variety of sizes and brands, as well as different souvenirs and accessories. The global situation of COVID-19 permanently delayed the shipment of merchandise. We hope that the next time you visit us we can show you what we normally have.

One of the best courses I have played! Practice area in great shape. All employees very welcoming and helpful. Course layout is great and has many sets of tee boxes to choose from. Make sure to choose the correct ones to make your experience a great one. A great course layout with anything from holes on the beach to up in the desert. If you get the chance to play make sure to even if the price is higher than you normally spend. You will be happy you played and it will be a course you will remember for a long time.

I have played Ranch multiple times now and I am speechless every time that I play. Whenever I get the chance to bring someone new to the course I get so excited because I know that I can not describe the course or views well enough. Simply words don't do the course and the service justice. The grass it cut tight like a PGA tour course and the views of the ocean are just stunning.
Not to mention that the service that I receive when I go there is unmatched. Fueling stations throughout the course to get you your food and beverage needs. All the way to the pro shop and how well they treat customers and make you feel welcome.
Overall one of the best courses I have ever been to and will continue to go to every chance that I get.
