Had a great time out spearfishing. All the gear is provided wet suit, fins, weights, etc. If you’re experienced you’ll probably want to use your own mask and snorkel. Recommended for strong swimmers as it is quite physically demanding. We moved around a bit down the rocky shore in search of schools of fish. We got two and the guide Luis helped us out with a third. After we were done a restaurant nearby turned them into ceviche and friend the others. Free diving and spear fishing is very rewarding and you’ll definitely become better with practice. Looking forward to coming back.

We went fishing with Oscar Mercado and had a wonderful time. Lots of sierras and some Bonitas. Not a big fancy boat ride and no fish, a reasonable price with excellent service and good fishing. Speaks excellent English. We use him every time I come to Cabo. Call 526241771453

Wondering if anyone wants to throw in and book a charter. I fish a lot and really want to catch a marlin or swordfish. Easy going and laid back, I'll be with my wife so I'd love to split a boat if any of you guys want. I don't know much about booking the charters but does anyone also have prices and availability? Thanks.

Go with FishingBooker.com. This is some sort of different system where you don't know which boat and crew you will get. After you book, they confirm over a day later and you don't know name of boat which makes it very confusing to find at 5:45 am.

The fishing was great but the pressure sales at the end is inapproprite. We were told that we could mount (trophy) the fish and that is why the marlin were not released. I was asked if i wanted to tropy the fish, i said yes under the clear impression they give you that the fish you catch will be mounted. But then, when you get back, a guy comes on board, doesn't even take picture of the fish and says they can sell you a replica at 10X price that you can find elsewhere. Then if you don't aagree to spend $9000, they are like why did you not release the fish. The question is: why are you mad now and asking about releasesing the fish only because i did not agree to the $9000 (with massive commission and kickbacks go sales person and boat crew). If i paid it, you wouldn't have cared. Had you been honest on the boat and said, it's only a replica they will mount so may as well release fish, that would have been ethical and fair.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent experience with us. We genuinely appreciate your input, as it helps us continuously improve our services. We're pleased to hear that you enjoyed the fishing itself, and we apologize for any confusion and frustration caused by the post-trip experience. To clarify, every morning before departure, a representative from Gray Taxidermy company (an external employee from Cabo Fishing) offers their services to interested customers for the sale of fish replicas. We are not affiliated with this company, and any transactions with them are entirely independent of our operations. Our captain mentioned offering the option to mount the fish based on the interest expressed by you, with no intention of receiving any commission. We regret any miscommunication that may have occurred during the sales pitch, and we're sorry for any negative feelings it may have caused. We want to assure you that we respect our customers' choices, whether they decide to keep or release the fish. The decision is entirely yours, and we do not pressure customers to make a purchase. The presence of the third-party representative was beyond our control, as they operate independently at the dock. We understand the importance of clear communication and will address this matter to ensure a smoother experience for our customers in the future. We hope you can consider editing your review to reflect the positive aspects of your fishing experience. We value your feedback and will use it to enhance our services. If you have any further concerns or questions, please feel free to reach out to us directly. Thank you for choosing us for your fishing adventure, and we hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future.

Terrible customer service. Booked paid $160 deposit for a charter. The day before they emailed saying we had to upgrade to a larger boat and needed $40 more added to deposit. I told them it was fine and would square up at the dock. They then sent me a confirmation email and instructions on meeting the next morning. Before closing they emailed saying the confirmation email was sent by mistake and our trip wasn’t booked because $40 deposit. I have not received a refund and question the company’s authenticity.

Absolutely do not use this company. Worst experience ever and totally got scammed. I booked through Cabo-fishing.net. I’ve been fishing in Cabo for 20 years and never had such a horrible experience. First there was no one to meet me at the dock. The confirmation did not include a boat name so all the really helpful people at the dock had a hard time helping. We finally found the captain. My confirmation said I would owe $300 plus $10 license and $20 bait. When I got there they said I owed $355 and it turns out they never even got me a license. Fishing was horrible. To make everything worse what few fish we caught the crew kept the best fish. By the time I got to the fish processing place the boat was long gone with my fish. Called the fishing company and they told me I had to work it out with the shady operator who never returned my call

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We're sorry to hear that the fishing experience didn't meet her expectations. After investigating the information you shared with us, we want to clarify the breakdown of the fees on your voucher. Your balance indeed reflected $300.00 USD for the boat rental, plus $20.00 USD per person for fishing license and $30.00 USD for live bait. We acknoledge that there is also a marine entrance fee (paid at the marina directly not us) of $15.00 USD per boat, which contributed to the grand total of $355.00 USD. Regarding the live bait, while we recommend $30.00 USD for the trip, we don't force customers to buy this amount and understand that may prefer buying less under their discression, which was your case (only paying $20.00 USD) and still had a sucessful catch. Besides that, our marina coordinator confirmed that the fishing license was sent to your phone number via text message, ensuring compliance with our regulations. Our marina coordinator confirmed four fish catches, including a sawfish, a medium Roosterfish, and a medium skipjack. It's standard practice to retain certain catches based on their suitability for consumption, but we regret any misunderstanding in this regard. It would have been accommodated if you expressed interest in keeping the skipjack. While we understand that the overall experience did not meet your expectations, we're pleased to note that you were able to reel in some catches despite the challenging conditions. We genuinely strive to provide memorable and satisfactory fishing outings for our customers, and we're disappointed to learn that we fell short in your case. We kindly request that you reconsider modifying your review to reflect the efforts to address your concerns and provide a fulfilling fishing experience. Your satisfaction is of the utmost importance to us, and we're committed to making amends where possible.

Don’t use them. Waste of money and time. Crew does nothing to help boat get bites. I’ve been on multiple fishing trips without bites but the crew was working hard, adjusting lines and changing routes, to try to get fish. This crew didn’t do anything. Disappeared up top and just took the boat back and forth across a route.

We were overcharged as well so watch what they quote you and what they tell you to bring. Very sneaky and don’t trust them.

They took pics of us when we got there and when we got back. After asking for a month, we finally received email with one photo. I didn’t bother asking anymore.

We will never use this company again. Honestly? Your better bet is to go to the marina when you get to Cabo and find a hard working boat and crew there. You’ll be more satisfied and probably save some money as well.

I was EXTREMELY disappointed with this company. I asked for a VERY specific kind of trip. Here’s what I emailed them, which they confirmed:

“We are a family with two children (ages 11 and 12). We will probably only want to be out for about three hours. We do not need a really intense experience. We do not need to go out very far to the best fishing area for the big marlins. We just want to have fun and catch a few fish. Doesn’t really matter what kind as long as we catch some. Ideally somewhere that doesn’t take too long to get to.”

And what did they do? They took us out very far into the deep sea. We went out so far that we had to turn around and come right back to be done in three hours. The boat did not stop moving the entire time. My kids just sat in the chairs bored out of their minds. And we did not catch a single fish!

Why did they not do what I asked for? Why did they take us out so far? Why didn’t they just take us out 10-15 minutes and let us drop lines to catch a few fish? That would have been fun for my family, and maybe we would have caught something. This trip was a COMPLETE waste of money and time for us. We are incredibly disappointed.

And then what made it worse is when I emailed them afterward to express my displeasure, they told me how sorry they were and that a supervisor would get back to me. And then…nothing. I sent multiple follow-ups and still nothing.

So maybe it’s fine for people who want the standard deep-sea package. But don’t waste your money if you want any customization.

The whole trip was awesome. We caught a Blue Marlin. The assistant was really helpful and so was the captain. Everything went good till the end. The website suggested we tip a 15% of what we paid for the boat. Well they basically told me I needed to tip them $100 dollars each. Actually 15% was only 40 each. I know how to do math. I didn't tip what they wanted. I gave $100 for both. I was happy with the overall experience but the fact that they tried to force me to pay more was not okay. I honestly don't know if I would use them again.
