Last stop on our tour

We were on a guided tour off our cruise ship and this was our last stop. The demonstration was neat to watch. It's amazing how they can craft all the figures out of molten glass.

The glass factory is a great experience. Talented artists blowing glass and they provide a fun commentary. The offerings for purchase range from drinking glasses to ornaments to beautiful vases. A wonderful place for gifts and unique souvenirs.

My husband and I enjoyed watching the craftsmen making a turtle with a bottle of tequila. There weren't enough chairs for our fairly large tour group, so I had to stand up. They explained how long it takes a person to be able to actually do the glass blowing. The heat from the glass is incredible and literally burned the... More

Visited this place as part of a city tour. Parts of the building were entirely made of colored glass. Thoroughly enjoyed the glass blowing demonstration. Lots of beautiful glass objects to view and buy.

We were making our way down the coast on a cruise and this activity was offered as part of a shore day. Having never been to a glass factory we found it very interesting, Yes, it was hot, naturally as there are furnaces operating to melt the glass, and it is dusty from the ingredients used to make the glass,... The shopkeeper narrated the glass blowing process for us as we watched the artisans work. We watched as they completed a plate, which was amazing, then we shopped for a bit in the store. The people were very nice, and they carefully wrapped our purchases so we could carry them home safely in our luggage.

Large glass factory using recycled glass. There is an area that you can sit and watch the glass blowing being done. It is such an art. In minutes beautiful pieces are made from a ball of hot glass. Very impressive and many things to purchase.
