While visiting Cabo this year we decided we wanted to do something different than we normally do, so we googled "Things to do in Cabo" and found this company that does a hike up to a waterfall, we thought that sounded fun and different so we booked it.
Casey picked us up at our resort (right on time) and drive us about an hour outside Cabo to Santiago where the Canyon de la Zorra is, first off it's a beautiful drive and once you get there you will see the real beauty of Cabo.
Our hike was moderate, a little rough here and there but once you got to the river and the waterfalls you will forgot the hike.
Casey took my husband and our friend a little further where they slide down a rock waterfall, my husband loved it! but we had a small problem, my husband hiking sandals fell apart and he had to hike in barefoot on the way back, but Casey was so great that as we got closer to the main waterfall he ran back to his van and bought my husband his extra flip flops so he wouldn't have to hike barefoot anymore.
After the fun of the hike and swimming at the waterfall Casey took us on a tour of the small town of Santiago and then we stopped at a small family run taco shop and on the best tacos.
If you want to do something different in Cabo contact Casey and go out to experience beautiful.
On the ran home Casey told us that his company also does Baby Turtle release, so we sign up for that too!
Again Casey picked us up at our resort and drove us to where the hatch the baby turtles, they told us how they find the eggs and take them to a safe place to hatch. Then they gave us 150 baby turtles to release, Casey drove us and the turtles to a beach that wasn't crowded, then Casey told us how to hold the turtles and how to release them. How important it was that the turtles make their way to the ocean by themselves, that they mark their way as they go in so they know where to come back to when they are ready to lay their eggs.
This was on my bucket list, so it was a very special moment for me and one that I will always remember and I thank Casey for making it so special.
Cabo Outfitters is a great company that are hands-on and will make your day special.

Casey and crew did an awesome job with a small tour to the arch. We contacts them after hours Friday night asking if we could go on Saturday morning and they did everything they could to accommodate. We had an awesome paddle and swim them!

My husband and I were recently in Los Cabos on our honeymoon and chose Cabo Outfitters for a baby turtle release - we had an amazing time! Casey picked us up from our hotel and gave us a bit of background info on the short drive. We first stopped at the nesting area and collected 300 (!) recently hatched baby Olive Ridley sea turtles, fresh from their nests, while learning about the collection and conservation efforts. We then drove to a nearby beach to release them. We were especially spoiled as we were the only couple on the tour and we got to release all of the babies on our own! This is a wonderful organization that is devoted to sea turtle conservation, and the tour costs helps support their day-to-day operations. We’ll never forget this experience and are so thankful to Cabo Outfitters for allowing us to do so!

Went on kayaking trip to lovers beach and the arch and snorkeling at pelican rock. Went with my 2 daughters (22 and 19). Since 3 of us, one of guides paddled with my one daughter. We had awesome time. There were I think 4 others besides us, one couple was no show. So nice size group, 2 guides including the owner. We got picked up at resort and started on medano beach. After unloading they went through safety stuff and instructions. The trip across the water to lovers beach from medano beach was a little choppy and was good workout. The nice thing is these guys have nicer kayaks that cut through water easier. We ran across this huge tour of kayakers in these smaller kayaks and I’m sure they were working extra hard too. They took really good care of providing direction and telling us stuff about the area. Lovers beach is beautiful absolutely a must see and worth the trip. We r not big snorkelers. But we had fun at pelican rock. The water in that area is more calm. They had water and first aid kit and snacks. When we got back to medano beach and we’re loading the gear and boats they set up some umbrellas on beach so we could sit and relax out of sun with snacks and water. This tour is well worth it, know what they r doing, super nice people, and highly recommend.

Went to Cabo in May 2021 and booked an excursion with Cabo Outfitters to do the 3-bay snorkel/kayak tour. Overall, our best excursion experience in Cabo so far, and we’ve been a dozen times and done many excursions with different vendors. Stacey was a great primary point of contact to answer all our questions and provide all the information we needed. Easy, email based communications and she took care of everything well in advance and provided great support. Casey was punctual and picked us up for our excursion and provided a great experience through the whole trip including taking pictures for us and leading the events of the day. Absolutely a great experience and would book again and again for any of our upcoming trips and excursion needs.

Incredible day for the family. From communication with Stacey to kayak and guiding with Casey, the trip was really special. Great snorkeling, swimming and cliff side kayaking. Breaching whales nearby. Perfect for adults to young teens. We'd recommend the group to anyone, especially if you're interested in a smaller footprint and more personal adventures than the bigger companies sell.

We booked a kayaking and snorkeling tour to the arches in August. Our guides were Alex, Luis and Casey. Everyone was attentive and their expertise in the water and knowledge of the area really showed. We had a blast in the waves, snorkeling and jumping off rocks. It was a truly unforgettable experience that couldn't have been made possible without our amazing guides.

Our favorite trip - guide was superb, beaches were outstanding for snorkeling, loads of beautiful fish to sea, and as 74 yr old guy, the 3 miles of kayaking were just perfect. Guide gave good info, kept us away from reef danger, and it was just the best trip we could have expected. His associate who drove the van from beach to beach kept us well provided. Couldn't have been better. Highly recommended to anyone. Bill

Kayaking to 3 bays was a great outdoor experience. Casey was a gracious guide. He kept an eye on us to be sure we that were safe and yet made us feel that we were kayaking in open water as a couple.
Our first stop was snorkeling in schools of colorful fish in Santa Maria Bay.
We got back in the Kayaks and paddled onto the next bay . We passed a blow hole and Turtle Bay on our way. Great views along the way.
The ocean water was a little choppy in some areas, and we were tired when we got to the end of the tree mile voyage.
Casey is well informed about the beach front area, thinks kindly about the coastal environment and is very personable. We enjoyed his conversation and guidance.
Great experience.

We arranged 4 different "tours" with Cabo Outfitters: Turtle Release, Kayaking/Snorkeling at The Arch & Lovers Beach, Surfing at Los Cerritos, and a Canyon Hike to a Waterfall (with slides and rock jumps for those interested). I had no idea how amazing all of these would be. We arranged our tours directly with Stacey through the website and emails. Casey the owner of the Cabo Outfitters, greeted us each morning in his big van at the house we were renting. He was so nice and shared so many cool facts about the area. We had both private and group tours. He is bilingual so he was able to speak to us but also to the Spanish speakers in our group tour. Alex, also bilingual, was the surf instructor and joined in our Kayaking/snorkel day too. Fun guy too. I always felt safe and knew that we were in good hands. We learned so much while having an absolute blast!! Casey even took pictures with his phone and shared them with us before we left (no extra charge) after each tour. My sons, 20 and 17, had so much fun. We all hope to return and take advantage of some of their other tours. I know the boys hope to return with friends in the future. If you are wondering what company you should go with to book any tours in the Cabo area, there is no doubt, I would highly recommend Cabo Outfitters! You won't regret it!! Thanks Casey, Stacey, and Alex.. we had a blast!!!!

If my trip is in September when would be a good time to schedule for the Turtle release? Would I pay at time of scheduling or when we get there?

We have started taking turtle release reservations for the fall. So, anytime is fine. Our turtle releases fill up, but September is usually a slow month. I would suggest making your reservation at least a month prior to your arrival in Sept to be on the safe side. You pay on the day of your trip. Thank you!

Hello,
is this your web page to book tours? cabo-outfitters com
We would like to enjoy the arch and the best place to snorkel, can you please recommend a tour, maybe sounds silly question considering there is the arch and lover's beach, but anyway I want to make sure.
Thank you

Hello!
Yes, that is our website. If you want to see the Arch, sea lion colony, Lover's Beach, etc. then you should do The Arch & Lover's Beach kayak/snorkel. None of our other trips take place in this area. We snorkel either off Lover's Beach out to Neptune's Finger or around Pelican Rock, depending on the conditions of the day. Visibility hasn't been very good since the storm last week, but hopefully it will clear up soon.
The 3 Bay offers the easiest snorkeling; at Sta Maria & Chileno. It's a longer kayak, about 3 miles, where The Arch is only about a mile of kayaking, so more of a workout.
Let me know if you have any other questions. Thank you!! -Stacey

When we went, our daughters snorkeled while we hung out on Lover's Beach and Divorce Beach. It was great!

So how exactly did you book it?
There are no prices, location, dates nothing but asking you for your full info and CC.
Sounds really scamming to me.
How did you find them.
It says you get to release one but you did a bunch?
On my wifes bucket list.

Are you still going to Cabo? If it’s not too late, I’m happy to get you connected with the owners directly. We’ve been using this company since 2010 and would never consider going to someone else. They are the best!

How much do you charge for your turtle release and what age do you need to be. Also- how far are you from Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach and do you provide transportation?
Thank you!

We went last year and I want to say to was around 80 per person. They provided transportation, which was great as it was a good distance away.
It was so fantastic. I would highly recommend. We gave a donation to the staff at the sanctuary.

Can anybody help answer a few questions with our upcoming trip in February. Greatly appreciated!
For the 3 Bay Excursion with Cabos Outfitters - Has anybody booked this online or wait till we get to San Jose in February?
Do you need kayaking experience? Are life jackets provided? Are you snorkelling from the beach or do you jump into the Sea?
Thanks!

I booked it online in advanced although you pay for it the day of the excursion. They also offer a discounted price if you pay in cash. I had zero kayaking experience and it was still fun and not that difficult. Life jackets are provided as well as wet suits if you want them for snorkeling. You'll kayak to the beaches and snorkel from the beach.
How log do excursions last and what is your price range
