This beach is one of the best but not the best in my opinion. It is worth trying for a day or two if you are staying for a long period.

I loved exploring! The Sea of Cortez is so beautiful- all of these beaches were really cool! The sea life is great to see first hand!

Even though your out and only accessible by boat.. As soon as you get off the boat in heavy surf into waist high waters people try and "carry your things" to dry ground before you and then pretty much demand you tip them heavily.. And once you find a spot to put your things, more peddlers come around selling hair... More

Most will travel here by boat but did you know you can get here by foot? I would only suggest this if you are physically fit and without children. Scrambling over granite boulders while waves crash below you requires concentration, some strength, a good sense of balance, tough soles (or good shoes). It's how most of the locals who work... We hiked from our hotel at Playa Grande to Lovers Beach a couple of days ago. It's a bit tricky right now because of the high tide and limited beach from the recent hurricane. It's doable by anyone in reasonable shape but I don't recommend taking kids. It requires scrambling up and over a rocky pass and then climbing over... More

While visiting Cabo, hurricane Newton came through. This caused lovers beach to close. We did get to see the beach and it still looked beautiful.

Its tiny. Not much to see but a tiny beach with a strong tide. But ask for the story behind it and what it used to be called.

When my wife and I went there, it was a blue sky, a lot of people were at the lovers beach. Some were swimming, snorkeling, some were just hanging out on the shore with their beach umbrellas. Me and my wife took a walking tour around the area. Took some snapshots. It was just breathtaking. You can see the Cabo... More

We took a water taxi over there for $13. It's a really cool beach, but it was too crowded. We ended up getting a ride to another beach where there wasn't anyone else and we were able to snorkel.

I love this place!!! I would not go to Cabo without going here!! Bring sandals because the sand gets hot, but this is the place to make memories.
