My uncle had been wanting to catch a striped marlin for a very long time. Neither of us had been to Cabo San Lucas so finding a good charter felt like a shot in the dark but we scored big with the Kingfish Cabo team. They may be on the more expensive side of charters that launch out of Cabo but what you pay for is a very, and I mean very, highly skilled team and a level of pampering that I just don't think you'd get on a bargain bin charter. We are talking about fresh tacos, ceviche, guac and pico made on the boat. A cooler full of water and beer at your disposal. No hidden charges. Just 100% highly efficient and enjoyable experience. My uncle had his marlin, a bucket list experience, in the boat a mere 3 hours into our first day. Our second day, the captain spotted a marlin, the first mate ran to the bow and spot casted right to it. Bam...marlin on and I was in for the fight. If that crew didn't do that I probably would not have gotten a marlin. These guys are serious professionals. Nice as can be and worth every nickel! I will not risk any future Cabo San Lucas fishing experiences with anyone else. These guys rock!

Kingfish Cabo is fantastic! We chartered a 35 foot Cabo Express which worked well for our family of four. The sea was a bit rough and wish we had gone with a bigger boat but the boat itself was great. We told the crew we hoped to catch a Marlin and the captain smiled and said, “Let’s do it!” We ran to deeper water in about 45 minutes at 6:30a.m. The simple continental breakfast on board was great. We enjoyed breakfast while the two crew members worked on getting everything set. We started trolling and within 30 minutes we hooked a Marlin. After a 45 minute fight we landed a 160 pound striped. It was awesome! My son got really seasick and the crew could not be more kind and felt badly for him. As the seas were rough and we accomplished what we had hoped to do, we cut the trip short and headed back to port. The chef prepared our lunch at the dock and we had a fantastic meal there. The tacos and ceviche were amazing! Truly one of the best charter experiences we have had!

Can’t say enough good about this fishing charter. We went for my husbands birthday and the crew went above and beyond to make it memorable for all of us. There were 4 of us that went and they saw to all of our needs. We wanted for nothing. Just when we thought we were only going to see dolphins, whales, and yes turtles, that is when the marlin started hitting. We landed 5 marlins on line and were able to get 3 onboard with the help of the crew. Thea were amazing. If you want a trip that you’ll never be able to top I’d recommend this group hands down. Hector was the captain, Hugo was the deckhand and Oscar was or chef. Given the opportunity I’d recommend this or have them again personally.

We spent two days of our Cabo trip fishing with Kingfish Cabo. We were on the Calita with our captain Pancho, mate Noah, and chef Gahel for both days. Noah was very quick and efficient in getting lines in the water, baiting hooks as needed, and keeping the deck washed down. He also laughed with us when the fish were a little too strong for me to maintain a good grip while pictures were taken. I ended up hugging a sierra and a mahi-mahi. ;) Gahel's food was wonderful and he took the time to make fresh sashimi from our daily catch. It was beautifully presented. Gahel also took pictures that Kingfish sent to us via email. Since our hands were a little full at times, this was much appreciated. Pancho made us welcome on the bridge and pointed out all the whales, turtles, and dolphins that we saw while searching for fish. We had a good catch both days - sierra, striped marlin, tuna, mahi-mahi, and skipjack.
We also had a good laugh at the sea lion that hangs out on the back of the boat to eat any leftover bait on the way back in.

Did 3 days in a row. Very rough first day but caught a Tuna and a Yellowfin. 2nd day went for Marlin and we caught one mahi and 3 marlin. 3rd day we went for eating fish and got into the tuna, had 5 on at one time, kept 5 big ones and released close to 20 more. Boat was Calita, not the newest or fastest but well maintained and got the job done. We had 2 different captains over the 3 days and both were great. Crew worked their butts off and were amazing, soon as a fish hits the deck all lines are back in. We actually had 2 marlin on at once as the captain threw in a live bait when we were already hooked up.
Breakfast in morning on arrival with coffee as you like it ready and handed to you. Amazing food prepped for you onboard, The tuna and mahi we caught the first day made fantastic fish tacos and sashimi, crazy good ceviche two ways. The food served to you is nothing short of great. Hats off to the chef.
Thanks for a great time. We stayed in a 2BR condo at Marina Sol and had no issues, 10 minute walk to boat.

What a great charter for our family of 7 adults! We chose the 8 hour trip on the 40' Calita, which is all inclusive including a fruit & pastry breakfast, tacos & cerviche lunch, beer, liquor & mixers, water & soda. Also included are fishing licenses and no added fees or taxes with a secure website for payment. The price they quote is what you pay except gratuities to the crew. The owner Michael was quick to respond to all my chat questions and emails.
Ramone, Javier & David got us on a marlin within 30 minutes of leaving the marina. We caught 2 nice ones and 3 others that got away after a fight. Also saw sea turtles, hammerhead shark and dolphins.
David waited on all of us hand and foot. Breakfast was ready when we boarded at 6:15am. He prepared lunch that afternoon that was yummy, mixed drinks and offered beer & water all day. We especially appreciated his quick action and compassion when 2 of our group became seasick. A little bit of a damper for our trip but still an incredible experience!
An fyi...you go right by the Cabo arch on the way out of the marina and they paused for photo opps. I would highly recommend Kingfish Cabo for their excellent management, all inclusive option and highly experienced crew.

We chartered 2 amazing days with Kingfish Cabo in October. There were 6 of us and we had a great time. Pancho was our great captain on the Calita along with Richardo the first mate, he was awesome and constantly helping us catch fish. Ventura was our chef and he was constantly helping with the fishing too. He made sashimi and fish tacos for us just minutes after catching our fish along with constantly feeding us. We caught over 20 Mahi-Mahi/Dorado and my husband was able to fulfill a life long dream of catching an 8 foot Marlin. My son's did a lot of research prior to going and we were definitely glad they chose Kingfishcabo.com.

The crew absolutely made this trip worth every penny. We went on a half day adventure and filled our boat with fish. I took my boys and they had a blast. They are 6 and 8 years old. Poncho, Noah, and Ventura were great. Punch was the captain and he spotted the fish from the top deck, he put us on the money! The boys reeled in multiple fish including Mahi- mahi. Then we went to deeper waters and pulled in the Marlin, saw hammer head sharks, and dolphin. Noah, the first mate, was there every step of the way ensuring our group got each fish to the boat. He cleaned the fish and packed them away for us to bring home. Ventura helped with the fishing, but he is a killer in the kitchen! His ceviche and tacos were awesome and hit the spot. Definitely beats a sack lunch. The group at Kingfish Cabo had a birthday cake for my wife and even helped her grandmother, who uses a walker, throughout the trip. The Calita was well kept, clean, and roomy! All in all, we had an absolute blast! Everything was simple and the pricing being all meant absolutely no surprises. I would highly recommend booking your next adventure with this group.

The crew took great care of us and thought of every last detail for our trip. The food was great and there were plenty of drinks. The captain and deck hands kept a watchful eye on the water up to the last minute of our 8 hour trip and we caught a marlin during the last 30 minutes out.

We have fished from Key West to Costa Rica and this hands down was the best charter we have been on. We landed a beautiful Striped Marlin (my first!!) and quite a few Mahi-Mahi, but beyond just that the crew was first class in both fun and amazing food. Next trip down we will not even look for another charter.
