We went out on the “El Pargo” with Capt Jose and a First Mate Pancho for a full day of family fun with my 16 and 17 year olds. By 7 am we had 6 Spanish Mackerel in the boat- great fun for the kids to not overwhelm them. we landed a couple Amberjacks and Bonitas before we moved on to the roosters. After a young one that gave us a light fight, we hooked into an 80 pounder which gave us a good fight on the light tackle and a ton of fun! Not to stop short, Jose hunted down and helped us hook a 100 pound a Striped Marlin to finish the day. Great Crew, great Boat and a time we won’t forget soon! Highly Recommended!

This was for our 2nd day with Cabo Sportfishing, this time on El Pargo with Captain Jose.
They put us on the fish, we felt safe, they spoke fluent english and more importantly their customer service was top shelf. Very nice folks and we absolutely would fish with them again.

Captain Juan(the owner) and the Cabo Sportfishing Crew were so nice to allow us to go on a 3 hour whale watching tour. We have been on so many humpback whale watching tours but we have never seen a breach. Today was the first day we saw a breach in many years! Captain Jose and Irving(our captains/guides for the tour) were very nice and they were able to get us to great viewing spots away from all the other boats. We saw not only one breach but at least 10, it was incredible!! They were also considerate to not get too close and kept a respectable distance. At some point, the humpback whale came close and did a breach two times very close to our boat. Also, I wanted to add that our boat "The Blue Tail" is one of the nicest boats we have been on in any whale watching tour. There are swivel chairs in the open area, covered sections with seating, and an upper deck where you can get a 360 degree view of everything. The boat holds 4 people and we were able to get a private tour which made it so much more amazing. They were nice enough to take us whale watching at a reasonable price even though they are a fishing charter. We even asked if we could snorkel for a little bit which they allowed us to do as well. We also met the resident sea lion Pancho at the end which was also a wonderful experience. I highly recommend them for a whale watching tour if you are in Cabo!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our trip out on Blue Tail last week. It was recommended to us by friends, and Cabo Sportfishing Crew did not disappoint! We not only caught several mahi-mahi, blackfin tuna, and yellowfin tuna; we also enjoyed watching hundreds of dolphins, and a pod of whales! It was amazing. Thank you Cabo Sportfishing Crew for a wonderful day!

staff was snotty, and acted like we were an imposition to be there. no food was offered at all. my husband has 1 water and i an orange soda. No snacks etc offered. the fishing was terrible but we would not blame the staff for that, that is part of the chance. But we were treated like they wanted to get back to the marina rather than be out fishing with us.

Me and five of my friends did a half day fishing trip with this company on 10/15 that was supposed to include live bait. The captain stated that he was not given any money to purchase live bait for our group, and even after he called and confirmed with someone at the company that live bait was included in our package, he still proceeded to take us on a 5-hour fishing excursion with only three pieces of live bait (which is less than half of the amount of live bait that is supposed to be included on a half day fishing trip), and when the live bait ran out at 9am (2.5 hours remaining on our trip) he tried to talk us into going ahead and ending our trip because we had already caught some fish and we wouldn't be able to catch any big fish without it. We declined ending our trip early, but after we returned I reached out to the person that I had been corresponding with prior to booking the excursion and he confirmed that we were supposed to have more live bait, but then proceeded to try and use the fact that we caught some fish as the reason why we should be okay with not receiving everything that we paid for.
Long story short, if you use this company, don't let them hurry up and rush you onto a boat when you arrive. Make sure that they have everything on board that is supposed to be included with your trip prior to leaving the dock.

Took a 5 hour tour with Captain Ruben and Joel On El Pargo. They are a great crew who truly want to make sure you have a good experience. We saw whales, seals, dolphins and turtles along with catching a couple fish. The big prize was landing a 104” striped marlin. The team worked with us through the 45 minute fight to get the marlin landed. It was an u forgettable experience.

Cabo Sportsfishing Crew were fantastic! We went on a 5 hour trip and we highly recommend. The crew asked what we would prefer to catch and gave advice and suggestions. My husband and I caught 2 Marlin under the guidance of the team!! Must do while you’re in Cabo!

We were two couples out on Blue Tail II with Capt. Ishmael and Jose. They were very friendly and helpful. They even let me practice my Spanish with them. The management accommodated my requests for a gluten free snack and Diet Coke too! The fishing is a matter of luck (at least to some extent) and after a slow start, we got lucky. Jose deftly assisted as we brought in two marlin and two dorado. We got some nice pictures, got to feed the sea lion upon our return to the harbor and Jose fed the frigate birds. They hooked us up with the folks who are processing our fish. All in all, I highly recommend.

Cabo sport fishing is an awesome company to go fishing with. I was on the boat La Sabrina and the captain Luis and mate Javier were totally the best. I had the boat for 4 days and landed 9 mahi-mahi and 1 blue Marlin. Captain alums could read the water very well and knew where the fish seemed to be. Well worth the money’s for these guys

Hi, May have messed up question process. Want to fish on either the 17th or 18th of this month, two people. Want to fish for Matli and Yellow Fin to start. Can I bring my own spinning gear to cast to blitzing schools of tuna?

Hi, once I have booked and paid my deposit. On the day before setting off how would you like the remainder paid. US Dollers or Mexican pesos. Being from United Kingdom I was going to exchange into pesos would that be better.

Hi all. A question for the charter of the blue tail. If at any point during the trip its felt that a different species to target, would this be OK with the captain or do you just fish that day what you set out to do. So for instance if I book 3 days do I speculate what I want to fish for on those days or can I mix it up please.
