This is a frequent stop of tour boats because it combines a trip to Lover’s Beach (Playa del Amor) with Divorce beach. Lovers Beach is a small beach on the bay side of Land’s End. It’s only accessible by boat, but it still draws tourists. Connected on the other side of the beach facing the Pacific Ocean is Divorce Beach. To me, it was interesting because Divorce Beach seemed much more turbulent to me than Lover’s Beach. Divorce Beach is on the Pacific side and, of course, the currents are much stronger than the Lover’s Beach on the Sea of Cortez. Either way – you will need to take a water taxi or tour boat to come to the beach.

Beautiful beach to walk. We accessed it through Hotel Solmar. At the guard station, we just asked to go to the beach and they walked us through. The beach has very few people on it as it is not a swimming beach but rather only for walking. The waves were spectacular. A must-see to view the sheer force and beauty of the ocean.

We traveled to Divorce beach by scrambling over rocks from the Terrasol side. You can also arrive by boat via Lover's beach or by hiking down from Mt. Solmar. Beach is much larger and more scenic than Lover's Beach. Visitors need to pay attention to sea conditions as they may restrict boat access via Lover's Beach as well as making it harder to scramble back to Terrasol side. Additionally, sea conditions can "trap" you between the rocks and the resort even on the Terrasol side. It really is beautiful though and worth the trip.

I took these photos with my drone.

There are too connected beaches: playa del amor abd playa del divorcio. You can arrive by boat or you can do a hike from the dog trainer property.

I did the hike and returned by hike and it was amazing. There are a few people on the beach but lots of boats full of tourists and with very loud music around.

Is nice to take a walk.

You enter this beach by taking a water taxi to lovers beach, which is on the Sea of Cortez, and walking through to Divorce beach which is on the Pacific. Quite unique to have a beach on both the Pacific and the Sea of Cortez. Very pretty with lots of neat rock formations.
BUT DO NOT SWIM IN THE PACIFIC! Should be called "Widows" beach, not divorce. Several people loose their lives on at this beach or next door at Solmar each year. The undertow and rogue waves can get you. So SWIM ON THE SEA OF CORTEZ side, that is perfectly safe.

They have several beach areas where you can swim. You aren't allowed to swim at the resort we stayed due to the high waves, etc. so these smaller beaches all around are wonderful.

Lovers beach and divorce beach are joined by the magic cave....where two go in and three come out! Be careful climbing the mountain and whenever possible get someone to show you the path.....lots of people fall off and that is not good here in Cabo....stay AWAY from the edge of the water as there are humungous rouge waves that kill people the all the time.....other than that...have fun!

PLEASE DO NOT BATHE IN THE PACIFIC OCEAN. Since the Pacific and the Cortez Sea meet at the tip of the rocks, the backwash of the ocean is extremely dangerous.
I own a condo in a timeshare right there and I can assure you that drowning is guaranteed. You can swim on the Cortez sea side. For those who are going to Divorce beach and Lover's Beach, bathe at Lover's beach. Divorce Beach doesn't forgive!

Divorce Beach is the back side of Lovers Beach. There are no services, no shade, and the water is too rough to be enjoyed. Not worth the visit for sure.

Go to Medano Beach and grab a water taxi from Omega Sports Bar. The fee is $15 per person. Take the tour of the Arch and Land's End and have them drop you off at Lovers Beach and walk past all the people trying to swim there and walk over to Divorce beach. Way less people and a great place to relax for a little while and enjoy the scenery. This beach is red flagged so do not venture in the water.
