- CAS1 contributionAwesome day with Pablo whale watching and ATV adventuring! We stayed at Solaz Resort where Wild Canyon had a tent. Pablo was incredible and took our family of 4 on a wonderful paddle board experience tracking a mother whale and a calf. Such a great experience to be so close. Pablo was patient and so accommodating. His instructions and safety considerations were excellent. Our experience was so great that everyone wanted to do another trip with Pablo so later that day we took an unforgettable ATV tour through the wild canyon property! We will never forget the excitement of the terrain nor the awesome service. We would highly recommend it and the kids want to come back to do it again. We stopped off at the terrain park for complimentary nachos and soft drinks and some bungee jumping too! Awesome job!Thank you for taking the time to comment! What a great adventure we experienced! We love having families and friends of all ages visit us creating memories of a lifetime together. Thank you for the shout-out to Pablo, him and the crew will appreciate hearing from you! We hope to see you all back again during your next vacation to Cabo. What will our next Wild Canyon plans involve amigos? They were very friendly and fun to talk with. They new their boat and water conditions well which made use feel very comfortable. The snacks and drinks were great also. We were able to see a beautiful sunset and some dolphins swimming around the boat. We would highly recommend them for a great evening on the water!Visited September 2020Traveled as a coupleWritten September 25, 2020
- travelingmomNYC97 contributionsFun destination -- Parrots, camels, zipline, etc.We really had fun here. They could do a better job with the camel ride -- it's just up a short straight dirt road and back, kind of like a pony ride; it would be more fun if they did an itneresting loop with some sightseeing details - but we really liked it here anyway. We enjoyed the "kissing" the camel part, and we LOVED having all the lovebirds land on us and eat our of our hands. We also spent time with the Macaws and cockatoo, which was my daughter's favorite part of the trip. Thanks for commenting amigos! We love our camels, they are family to us and we ensure that the paths that we choose to take them are safe for them (ad our guests). We will scout to see if there is another path we can take to give our guests more options, great idea thanks! Arrived at 8:45 for a 2.5 hour UTV Adventure.. Checked in and paid quickly, put our stuff in a locker and walked over the UTVs. Met our guide, he said he would be with us the entire time. Sit down by the helmets and wait until 9:20 for him arrive (about 25 minutes), we get our helmets on and after a quick intro on the RZRs we sit down and are ready to by 9:35. He say we are going to go down to the beach and through the mountains on the return--fine. Basically you take the UTVs down the trails towards the Tule arroyo and back. I could easily drive my SUV on the trails we went on (and defenitely do so quicker). On the way back we broke a belt on one of our UTVs (maintenance issue..) and had to wait for a replacement for about 20 minutes. With all of that we were still back to the entrance by 10:35. Basically save your money and only go to Wild Canyon for the Ziplining-which can be fun if you have the time to wait in line at every zipline. Seems like they are more interested in taking photos than having a fun experience for their customers. Also note the picture of the RZR going down a mountain like they show on the advertisment is *NOTHING* like what they actually let you do. My son got chasised for power sliding around corners, give me a break that is what RZRs are good for.

We purchased the camel tour. As soon as you arrive they charge USD 20 for each visitor to enter the park. Why do you have to pay when you already paid USD 180 for 2 people. I have been to many tours around the globe and this is definitely not a place to spend your money at. They do not allow people to take photos. They charge for the lockers. Asked for a non alcoholic drink and they tried to charge money. Alcoholic drinks are somewhat included.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to provide an insight on your experience with us. We are sorry to hear that your experience was not what you hoped for. About your comments, we assure you we’ll take action to provide clear and concise information to our future adventurers.
We take this opportunity to reiterate important information to you and our future visitors regarding your comments.
There is an additional $20 USD per person needed as an admission fee to the park. This cost is mandatory for everyone, and it includes building access, restrooms, the restaurant, hanging bridges, and pool area. This fee is used to conserve the natural area within the park perimeters and animal sanctuary.
About the photography allowed, mobile devices are restricted only in common areas. We like our guests to remain 100% focused on the participating activity for our guests' security and avoid any casualties. We offer photo bundles that can be purchased before your arrival, and you can receive 10% off. This too includes a professional photographer capturing your best moments on your adventure. To address our locker services, we offer complimentary lockers onsite. To use these, a refundable $5 USD deposit is required. Once you return the lock and key, your deposit will be returned. Lastly, we offer some experiences that include a meal and a drink like the camel ride or the horse ride. For the rest of our experiences, we offer additional meal and beverage plans that can be purchased with anticipation through our website.
Again, we appreciate your review and hope that you allow us to better your experience on your next vacation to Los Cabos.
Sincerely from the Wild Canyon Family.

A very over-priced and disappointing experience. We signed up for horse-riding. That on its own was OK if unspectacular. It took about 50 mins. Neither of us had ridden before but the safety briefing took about 10 seconds and the route involved some paths close to the edge of the canyon. The horses were spooked by passing cyclists so this seemed not safe enough. Our leader appeared to spend most of the ride on his phone. We were away from the hotel for 4 hours and the journey was 15 mins each way. What did we do the rest of the time? WAIT. We waited for 45 mins on arrival for our activity to start, meeting some parrots for about 5 mins before our horseride. We then were given a light snack and a choice of a free drink. My wife said she didnt want a margarita or a smoothie so could she have a Coke no, she would have to pay extra for that. We were never offered water while we were there - considering you are out in the middle of the desert, that doesnt seem right. Then we went back to get our ride to the hotel and were told we would have to wait 1hr 40mins for the next minibus! We complained but the girl running the transport couldn't have cared less. We weren't the only ones having to wait. For those most unhappy, they were offered a cab ride for USD60 back to San Jose, compared to USD6 on Uber but unsurprisingly no Uber driver was interested in coming out into the desert. For those willing to pay taxis appeared almost instantly Eventually we got transport in a minibus and after waiting another 15 mins in the van waiting for more passengers we left. All that for USD240 plus the cost of a Coke. We felt deflated and cheated by the whole experience.

Hello, thank you for sharing your review with the details of your visit. We will consider each of the points you mention to improve the experience of future visitors. I would like to share with you and future readers important information about your comments and thus invite you to learn more about the horseback riding experience. About bicycles near horses, our beloved animals are trained and accustomed to living with moving equipment, so the use of trails for various activities can be shared and in complete safety. About the situation, with your guide, we started an investigation process to prevent it from happening again. Our tour guides have a commitment to give full attention and excellence to our guests, therefore the necessary actions will be taken so this does not happen again. Regarding the additional cost of your drink, your activity has already established courtesy snacks and drinks, unfortunately, soda is not one of them, we invite readers to know the selection of drinks that this activity includes on our website. Regarding the waiting time, we have established an approximate waiting time of 45 min after the end of your activity. This is imposed only on the complimentary transportation since we must wait for all the participants who have arrived in it according to your location. While you wait for your transportation, we invite all customers to enjoy our common areas such as wet areas, suspension bridges, animal sanctuaryy, or viewpoints. However, if you want to leave once your activity is finished, you can consider the private transportation that wild canyon provides for an additional cost or request another private transportation. It is very important to mention that wild canyon is not responsible for these services, rates, and availability. We hope you can give us a second visit, I am interested in improving your experience with us and providing you with a gift certificate which you can use on your next visit during your reservation. I look forward to your email to contact@wildcanyon.com.mx to follow up on this review. Greetings from the wild canyon family

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with the front desk staff of wild canyon adventures on 2/21/23. They made promises over the phone and then refused to follow through on those promises in person. Additionally, they not only refused to let my party change one of the bikes we reserved to a different bike, they demanded an extra $300 on top of the $350 we had already spent even though the value of the bike we were requesting was lower than what we paid. They also refused to refund us or give us s store credit like they promised over the phone. They also would make offers in person just to come back 2 minutes later and completely change the offer.
Out your guide MARIO was the only positive part of the experience and made our ATV tour incredible. I would give 5 stars just based on his hospitality and helpfulness. Mario is the best, if you do book a tour, make sure it’s with him!

We had a full day at Wild Canyon and loved every moment of it. Not only was it a super cool park, but the staff really elevated the experience. We started out with ziplining. Amazingly, it was both relaxing and exhilarating. All of the guides – there were about 6 in total, unfortunately we didn't get all of their names, but they were phenomenal – made us feel so safe and secure. They clearly explained everything and made sure that we enjoyed our time. If you’re planning on ziplining, don’t forget to use closed toed shoes. You do have to hike just a bit to get to different lines. Thankfully they give you a bottle of water, so be sure to stay hydrated.
Our second activity was the UTVs. Our three guides; Sergio, Adrian, and Rafael were so wonderful. Like our zipline guys, they clearly explained the safety rules and made sure we were having an awesome time. At one point, our car wasn't picking up enough speed, so without missing a beat, they ordered in a replacement vehicle, and we didn't waste anytime. Driving over the bridge was absolutely incredible. The views were beautiful, but the amazing staff is what really made our day perfect. We hope to be back next year.
*Also, the photographers were super fun and cool.*

It was my first time riding an ATV and was struggling to control it and immediately the lead came to me and realized my dilemma and suggested that I go tandem with one of their team and it was a real nice experience to be chauffeured around. The ride was an experience the picture taking nice only flip side was we cannot carry our own cameras as that is one way they make money. After the ride the walk around the animal kingdom was a relaxing experience. Lastly it has been more than 12 hours since we did this trip and I am still waiting for the link to collect my pics which they charge $47 USD or if yo want on the USB drive then it's $59.99. One advice book your tickets through Expedia as their prices are much lower then on site. Also if you are a novice like me to drive the ATV the opt to go for the UTV which is easier and more fun. Oh and before I forget: there is a $35 USD insurance for the vehicle and $20 per person USD for park entrance fees. :-)

This place is cool but expensive . Here is what we did to have fin and save money with our kids. Pay the 20 dollar entrance fee and use the water park (only cool for kids ten and under) Lounge around water park a couple hours then take a break and walk thru their animal exibts. DO NOT MISS entering the love birds cage. They land all over you and it's the sweetest thing ! That is how I would do Wild Canyon with a young family . Zip lines are EXPENSIVE here.

Had an awesome time with this company. Starting with our driver that took us between the resort and the excursion, Sammy—a younger local guide who was funny, friendly and knowledgeable—showed us all the local places to come back and enjoy in downtown after our ride.
We did the UTV tour with Sergio, and it was a blast! He took time to explain the process/safety briefing, was conscientious of all parties riding, and made sure we had a good time. Sergio was the best.
Capped off the tour with a ride across a 1,000 foot suspension bridge, we felt this tour was totally worth our precious vacation time!

This was a very enjoyable sail/motor on a 41 foot sailboat. We stopped at pamilla bay to snorkel and saw many fish and starfish. Afterwards we had a delicious lunch. Ulysses and Angel were super nice and the drinks were plentiful. The best part was the reasonable price for a private sailing activity. I would definately recommend this activity. Good value.

Thank you for sharing your experience on our sailboat; It's amazing practice snorkel in this area and let fascinated by the fauna and flora it has. Did they tell you the story of how the sailboat you sailed on is the winner of several tournaments? Because otherwise, I will love to share it on your next visit, maybe now in the park while we zip-line or enjoy a drink on the rooftop. We hope to see you very soon.

We had a great time on the ATVs. The guides were awesome & made sure everyone was safe & having fun. The only suggestion would be to give riders time for a “free” ride. There was plenty of room in the canyon. Also, they should increase the fees to include park entrance & insurance instead of charging separately. Seemed liked we were “nickel & dimed” after paying the price for the activities.

Im kinda of confused about your pricing on the UTV. On your website it states the price is per person so does that mean if I book a double UTV im gonna have to pay $500 bucks instead of just $250?
Hi! Thank for getting in touch with us.
To make everything clear, You will pay USD$250 for a double UTV with two persons inside, also you will pay USD$45 as insurance mandatory fee and USD$15 entrance fee per person, you can pay with visa, MasterCard, Amex or cash.
