I cannot say enough about the amazing one on one surfing day we had with Luis! He picked us up at our hotel on time, he was friendly, positive and very attentive to both me and my wife. We each had surfed before but needed more coaching/practice and he was able to tailor the lesson to each of us. I felt very comfortable in the break and after some time assisting us in the smaller part of the break he took me out further into some bigger waves. It was very rewarding to have so much progression of my beginner skills in one session. When I was feeling strong he coached me into catching waves for myself, when I was spent he helped me paddle out and gave me a push when necessary. The other local surfers at Costa Azul were friendly and very helpful, it was like having a team of surfing coaches. We were so pleased we booked another half day 48 hours later. High tide provided round trip transport, beach chairs, umbrellas, water access to private bathrooms and all the good vibes. I would actually travel back to Cabo just to surf with Luis again. I've spent time with at least 5 or 6 other surf instructors in my life and this guy tops them all!.
