I have chartered sail and powerboats around the world. As a discerning and experienced boater, I am happy to highly recommend Seashine Adventures. My friends and I never had a better experience on the water than our day aboard Seashine Adventures’ Sea Ray out of Cabo.
Prior to our charter, I exchanged multiple emails with Seashine’s team who were happy to customize our trip to our preferences.
The boat was immaculate, and the crew could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The food was great, way beyond what we expected, and because we are not big drinkers, we hardly took advantage of the unlimited open bar.
Another big plus was the ease of doing business with Seashine. In a country where one is always on the lookout for scams, Sunshine priced the trip upfront and stood behind their word that there would be, “no extra taxes, no sneaky fees or charges of any kind.” To my amazement they offered, “a 100% money-back guarantee. If you don’t have a good time or our crew doesn’t treat you like family we’ll refund you completely.” Amazing!!!

Went in early January 2023 with an 18 person group in town for a wedding. Communication with Seashine up until the day was so fast and clear! Reached out via the email on their website, they always responded within an hour (often within minutes), and they were super clear on price. Also they were amazingly able to accommodate a last minute addition with an email response in less than 5 mins!
Our crew Carlos, Jose, Antonio, and Ricardo were so accommodating. They remembered who was drinking what throughout the cruise and always brought out a replenishment beverage. They made sure food allergies were squared away and took us to great spots for photos and swimming. I’d 100% book again with Seashine!

Our cruise with Seashine on the Nova made our Cabo trip! Blown away by what you get for just a bit more than a typical excursion on a boat with a bunch of other people. A private boat with amazing service, unlimited drinks and amazing food! Plus our crew knew where to find the whales and all about their activity so they could anticipate where they would pop up. We noticed other boats following us so clearly other operations know that Seashine knows what they are doing so they following them! haha. We went out on the most amazing sunset cruise, did a quick tour of lovers rock area, did some whale watching then headed over the Chileno Bay for some snorkling and dinner. It was my daughters birthday and when we showing up they had a birthday banner up and then finished the night off with the most amazing "Tres Leches" birthday cake for her while we were watching the sunset! Thanks to the entire crew and to Katie for organizing for us!! Will definitely be back!!!

My husband and I had an amazing experience with Seashine from communication leading up to the trip to docking at the end of the trip. We booked the 37’ Nova for a 4 hour sunset cruise and the food, drinks and service were top notch! The captain took us to the arch and at my request we went up the pacific coast to find some whales. We must have seen 10+ humpback whales at a safe distance. When the ocean became a little rough we found calm water to finish our meal and watch the sunset. Truly a professional, quality company that stands out from the rest! I recommend booking with Seashine online/via email in advance and save yourself the hassle of other companies pestering you along the marina boardwalk. 5 stars, 10/10 service… what an incredible trip! Thanks again

Our experience with Seashine for a yacht charter in Cabo was excellent! The staff communicated exceptionally with us as part of the booking process and went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable and excited for our trip! We were especially impressed with our crew, who went above and beyond to make sure we were having a blast. Even when some members of our group were feeling a bit queasy from motion sickness, Allan, Richard, Ramon, and Manny were extra attentive. This was a fantastic experience on the water that ended with the most beautiful sunset we have ever seen!! If you're traveling with a group and want to plan something special, I highly recommend Seashine charters!

I knew I wanted to do a boat charter as part of my bachelorette trip and after doing some research on a couple places I found Seashine Adventures. ALL of my girls said this was hands down the best decision ever. The whole Seashine team was amazing - they decorated for my bach, greated us with drinks (and made sure we were never empty handed), let us hook up to their sound system, were GREAT with communication prior to the trip, and SO accommodating the whole charter. I can't thank them enough for making this a great experience. I would HIGHLY recommend doing a charter with Seashine, you will not regret it!

Our private sunset charter was so much fun. Our group (7) boarded the 37' Nova just before 2pm and were greeted by David and Ramon with watermelon refreshers and a fruit platter. As we exited the harbor, Ramon gave us a brief history of the area and David got our personal playlists hooked up to the sound system.
The views, food and drinks, and the expert hospitality of Ramon and David made our afternoon a success. We stopped to snorkel and paddleboard and we were fortunate to catch sight of a whale on the way back to the harbor. Ramon even gave us recommendations for restraunts to check out in town.
I was nervous about booking such a big excursion before arriving in Cabo, but communicating with the Sunshine team over email was easy and the response was timely. We had a few dietary restrictions and we were able to make some changes to the menus offered to best suit our needs.
I highly recommend taking a private charter with Seashine Adventures and if you are fortunate enough to get Ramon and David as your crew, you will be well taken care of. I plan to book again.

We travel to Cabo yearly and always plan at least one "on the water" excursion. The owner of the villa we rented this time recommended Seashine. Our 3-hour birthday celebration for my husband was by far the best ever! Our only disappointment was that we didn't book it for a longer afternoon. Seashine was very easy to communicate with during planning and planned every detail for our day. The staff was not only friendly and professional but also super fun! They listened to what we wanted out of the trip and made sure it happened. We even got to see whales! The boat was beautiful, and the food and drinks were amazing. They even had a birthday cake! One very important difference we noticed with Seashine is that there were no hidden fees. We have booked with other companies and every detail seemed to have an additional price. We will definitely only use Seashine from now on and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone else traveling to Cabo.

I have used Seashine Adventures twice now to book a yacht in cabo. They are so friendly, professional and prompt with communication and bookings. The first time was in 2019 and the captain even swam to deliver us drinks in the ocean: A+. The second time was in 2022, we had Carlos on both trips and he is a great host! The food is also AMAZING! Our family and friends had the best time and we will continue to use Seashine in the future and recommend them to others. See you soon!

The team at Seashine Adventures are extremely professional and prompt. We decided to do a 3-hour yacht charter on very short notice on New Years Eve. Deborah responded to my e-mail inquiry within 10 minutes and we were booked with our menu selected within the hour. The e-mail instructions were clear and answered all our questions. When we arrived at the boat, we were greeted by the Captain “Chicken” and his first mate Aerial. From the moment we stepped on board the “Local Boy”, which is impeccably clean, we felt at home. The crew tended to all our needs, we’re always ready with a drink and got us close to the whales! The food was incredible and presented beautifully. There was even a delicious Tres Leches cake for my mother’s birthday. It was the highlight of our trip! We will definitely charter with Seashine in the future! Chicken and Aerial really made the trip special!

Is there a "whale watching" season? When is the best time of year to come to see whales and dolphins?

Whale Watching season is technically from December 15th-April 15th, although sometimes they arrive a bit earlier and leave a little later.
We have seen great whale action as early as in November and still into May — but the guarantees all come within the official dates.

I'm just seeing this now, sorry about the delay. I believe you got in touch and already booked with us, but I thought I'd answer here for others as well just in case!
We have a 100% weather refund guarantee. First, we'll work with our guests on finding an alternate date if possible.
If that simply won't work with a guest's schedule, we will give a 100% refund due to inclement weather or unsafe conditions.
We're lucky in Cabo that the weather is almost always amazing with very few rain days per year and calm to relatively calm seas most of the time.
