When in Cabo, you may see little glass hearts all over town. Their cute. My wife and I have them decorated all over our house and yard back home. You may also see them at some gift shops and give up on them due to the prices. Not at Coyota. I always take my camera because it's almost like a museum inside. Repurposed from an old hotel, the store is set up in the court yard and different rooms have different items. You'll explore for a while and even imagining leaving Coyota without a few items is a tough pill to swallow. The manager is quite knowledgable and the staff are very helpful. They'll even bring you free water and towels if it's a scorcher of a day. It can be tricky to locate, so bring your navigation app. There's 3-4 parking spots right in front. My wife and mother in-law generally hit La Coyota twice every time we come down to Cabo. It's a must stop place.Visited October 2020Written October 24, 2020
- HappyCouple3861 contributionsBeautiful setting and high quality itemsSuch a beautiful shop with lovely items. The glassware and linens are high quality and reasonably priced. The service is so good. We arrived on a particular hot and humid day. It was 95 degrees and 87% humidity. The staff followed us around with lemon water, fans and towels to make sure we were cool enough to do some serious shopping. I wish I had bought more pottery and glassware. I will be back.Visited September 2021Traveled with friendsWritten September 28, 2021
- KASteinHouston, Texas34 contributionsRelaxing Cabo shopping in a beautiful venue!Relaxing shopping spot with amazing merchandise. No pressure sales people, only helpful staff in a beautiful hacienda courtyard, even a beautiful pool with a turtle. We enjoyed browsing the various rooms, the courtyard, beautiful trees and exploring the items. I was so happy to find a handheld fan! It has been so hot this week! They were happy to arrange shipping of the beautiful platter we purchased as well.Visited July 2021Traveled with familyWritten July 29, 2021

I'll start with the good; the store is amazing. They have a bit of everything and then some..... You literally could get almost everything here, if you're looking for unique items, souvenirs to take home or just wanting to look at beautiful things, this is the place! there are different rooms on multiple levels and each room carries something fun and unique. The building itself is a beautiful piece of architecture. There is art from local artists, home goods, jewelry, souvenirs, clothing, accessories and seriously....so much more. The not so good; this store is off the beaten path and not easy to find. We walked here from the main shopping downtown Cabo and it was almost a mile. The BAD; ZERO and I do mean ZERO customer service!! My husband and I were the only ones in the store and we were in the store for almost an hour wandering around, looking in all the rooms and taking in the beauty. During that time, we counted 5 employees and not 1 of them made eye contact, greeted us or asked us if we needed any help. If I could have give ZERO stars, I would have. I could understand 1 or maybe even 2 employees not paying attention, but 5? None of them moved from their areas, near the front where we entered, nor made any effort to engage with us on any level. We did see items we would have purchased but the complete lack of customer service was so off putting and bizarre, we chose to take our business elsewhere. We would not go here again and would not recommend this store to anyone.

I was really impressed with this store. It doesn't feel like a store. It is like visiting a friend's home that has lots of stuff. There is a swimming pool and a water all in the garden. The swimming pool is surrounded with orchid trees and lush green plants. There are different items in every room and part of the garden. There is also a second floor rooms to discover. There is something for everyone. You can find good quality gifts here.

We had hoped to be able to shop here and followed the crazy directions on more than one day. It was closed both times with the parking lot taped off. We had checked the website for days and hours of operation before going and nowhere did it say it was closed. I would love to give it more stars but if there is an active website for a shop it should be kept up to date with significant closures. Disappointing.

What an amazing find! A beautiful setting with so many items artfully displayed. Although I didn’t purchase anything today, I will go back and shop more again. There was nothing I “needed” but so many things I liked, either for myself or as a gift. Just don’t have enough space to pack it this trip! High quality items and very reasonable prices.

Great place to find authentic pottery, table linens and stuff. Plan to spend some time walking through the rooms of what was an old hacienda. Each room is different. You can find the tableware used at The Office here, and lots more. Not close to the harbor but in town and accessible by taxi. We always find something to take home.

La Coyota is a real find. Walk around this home/shop and see unique items not found in the tourist traps near the marina. It is a bit of a hike but upon arriving you can enjoy a cold beer or delicious margarita. We found a truly special piece for our dining room but they do not ship. That led us on a real adventure toting a metal tree almost a mile to a FedEx store which did not have boxes or supplies. We then dodged traffic to a really helpful shop that took great pains to wrap and ship our purchases. A high quality store should offer shipping to the US but it still was a great find.

This is part of the Office restaurant group. You will see pottery with The Office scene and name. Very well stocked with everything you can think of - planters, plates, crosses, teapots, and even Mexican dresses and cover ups. Cute dog there also!

Edith's restaurant and The Office founder's former estate. Architecture and setting are colonial style...there's even a swimming pool in the middle of it all! Wonderful sale offerings from linens and place settings to ironware and rare find home decor pieces. You'll really enjoy wondering around this true jewel of Mexican culture.

La Coyota is located in a part of Los Cabos that tourists do not know about. The residents decorate from this store for all their accessories. The gorgeous colonial style hacienda used to be the home of none other than Edith Jimenez (as in Edith’s restaurant and The Office) until she decided to convert the house into a store. Every room is organized by theme and every conceivable surface is shoppable. One of the bedrooms is decked entirely in embroidered linens, the kids room is packed with dolls, plush toys, games, and accessories revolving around the Day of the Dead, while the second floor landing is outfitted floor-to-ceiling in crucifixes and sacred hearts. In the open air courtyard there are hand-blown glass ornaments in every color and size imaginable and even more pottery, curio boxes, light fixtures, art, and countless other treasures for sale.

This is a real find! We feel so lucky that we happened to hear about this place. Our group of 5 people all spent 2 hours each going through all of the items they have for sale. It is an old hacienda that has converted each room into a themed shop.
The quality of all of the work is extremely high and the prices are reasonable. It will only be a matter of time before this place is discovered.
It is in a little neighborhood on a side street. I don't know if all of the drivers know where this shop is so best to google map it for them.
Everyone is our group raved about the quality of the items for sale. Take your time and enjoy the ambiance of the hacienda and the beautiful goods for sale! You will be so glad you came here!

Hello, we will be in Cabo next week and want to stop at La Coyota to shop. How much time should we devote to the shop. is it several shops put together or one big one? also, are there any other shops or small restaurant on the same street where we see or a small restaurant or coffee shop where we could wait for our driver to return? Tnx
