Excellent experience. Wife and I went and wasn’t sure what to expect but by the time we left we both agreed it was one of the highlights of our trip.

If you’re on the fence, just go and do it. We were warmly welcomed with a banana shake and pepper tasting to start, and then a tour of the pepper farm and very good explanations of the various fruit trees, peppers, plants, etc.

Start to finish was about 1.5 relaxed hours including hanging out having a beer after.

We bought some pepper packs and a set of bamboo straws!

Tip: if you have a scooter and it’s a nice day and you are decent at riding, the road between the pepper farm to Ganh Dao is worth riding. And the town of Ganh Dao is pretty cool for some great ocean side pics with all the boats.

It is a backroad though with some pebbles and packed dirt, but totally doable with a scooter. If you’re not an experienced rider or the weather is iffy, take the main highway (DT973 on Google maps).

This was just a twenty minute tour. Wonderful to see how everything is handpicked, dried and packed. Like stepping back in time. Remember Phu Quoc produces the best pepper in the world.

Next to Cambodia pepper, the Vietnam pepper are very well known by most executive chefs around the world. Visit this pepper farm to learn more how pepper is grown and what kind of different peppers they grow. Ultimately you will buy some and use it at home.

Not worth booking a tour to see it. its ok if you are on motorbike and pass by but otherwise it was very quick. We bought pepper just to have a souvenir but no one explained us a thing.

Phu Quoc braggs about its fish sauce and pepper and this place is a tourist trap on most tours of the island. You are shown the pepper trees and the different colours of pepper which is of some interest but then led towards the shop where you are pushed towards buying the produce.

It was difficult to find but a GPS will!! You will have to trust the map even though you don't see the roads on the map. Don't try the "blind way" it won't work!
A great moment to share with Eric and his high quality pepper. We got 2.5kg and we still think it wasn't enough. I guess we will come back :)

Great to see how they grow the worlds best pepper and this I do not doubt. Good selection in the shop after the quick tour, we bought several types and now cannot wait to try them.
