6 parents/adults and 5 children (aged 6 months to 6 years). Contacted Sunspot by email and arranged tour ahead of time. They were super quick to reply. Very professional and accommodating with car seats and vehicle sizes for our large group.

Was so worried when rain was forecast. But our driver helped us into a good entrance and we enjoyed it while it drizzled. Ate lunch under cover and then hiked it when the skies cleared. The driver was flexible, friendly, and helpful.

The out company sunspot is top notch in customer support and reliability. Would highly recommend.

For the last 2 summers we have used GoCroatia Transfers/ Sunspot Tours to transport our group of 20+ adults and children around Croatia. We have used them over 20 times for trips to and from the airport, Krka, Dubrovnik, Zadar, Solin, and could not be happier with their service. They always come with clean, safe, and new vehicles. They are excellent with communication and are incredibly reliable. We will be back next summer and will be booking them again for all of our transportation needs.

this is an area where you can admire the boats, take a boat trip and do as much or as little as you want. Relax and enjoy the scenery

Not happy with this company at all. Booked a trip from our villa for myself and my family to Krka Waterfalls and Sibenik Town. The trip cost about £550. On the way the driver made a strange de-tour from the main road up some narrow side streets, meeting a few dead ends and also asking people on the street for directions, not only is this very unprofessional but it added about 40 minutes onto the journey. Then an hour in he pulled into the hard shoulder on the motorway to do a wee on the side of the road whilst cars drove past at 80+ mph.

When we left the waterfalls I asked about the stop in Sibenik. To which he said he didn't understand. The trip as discussed was 3/4 hours at the waterfalls and then 1/2 hours in Sibenik. He was very confused about what I was asking and only realised when I showed him a photo of the town on my phone. If I hadn't of mentioned it he would of driven straight back to our accommodation. He said okay I can stop by there for an hour, like he was doing us a favour. I also complained about this via email and never got a response. Yes okay we had a great day but the service is not acceptable for how expensive it is.

we booked a day trip from split to plitvice lakes. we were picked up by our driver just outside of our accommodation and expected a mini van but were pleasantly surprised to have a private car instead. our driver branimir was fantastic and entertained us the whole trip. he took very good care of us. once you get to the park he grabbed the tickets for us and took us down to the entry which saved a lot of time as the queue to purchase tickets was massive. we had about 3 and a bit hours to explore the park which wasn't enough for the walk we wanted to do but it was extremely busy that day so we were moving slowly. it was a long day but very comfortable.

Very accommodating & very nice! When we were going to miss our pick up time due to transit issues on our end, they helped to arrange alternate plans. We did the trip from Split to Plitvice; was great! Our driver was very friendly; he talked to us on the drive about Croatia as we liked and also let us rest. Highly recommend!

After some mild confusion over where to meet the tour (it's on the side of the road by the harbor, not the shops side), our trip to Krka went very smoothly and left nothing to complain about!

Having advance tickets to the park was very helpful as it allowed us to skip the line when we arrived and spend more time actually in the park. Our guide was very flexible and allowed us to decide how long we wanted to spend in the park- an advantage of having a small group! There were only 6 of us (3 groups of 2).

On our way back we made a quick stop in the little town of Trogir, which was cool and something we wouldn't have known to see otherwise. Overall the ease of having a direct ride to the falls & tickets ready for you makes the tour worth it.

Just know that the tour is not guided and the service you are paying for is really just to make your day run smoothly.

My advice would be to spend as much time in the park as possible - we had 4 hours and would've stayed all day if we could!

Dear Dana F, Thanks for Your review. We are glad You had good time in the Krka national park. Due to amazing crowds there, we try to do our best to make everything run smoothly. That's the reason we don't use buses, only mini vans and cars. Another thank You goes for noticing that tickets await our guests in order to skip queuing. As for the guided tour, we've had a small questionnaire last year, and majority of our guests said they rather have more time in a park (for swimming etc.) rather than guided tour (which can limit individual preferences). We encourage our guests to express their wishes (like Your group decided to skip Sibenik and visit Trogir instead). However, there is a possibility to arrange guided tour with additional fee. Best regards, Anamaria and SunSpot team

I booked the Dubrovnik day trip with Sunspot before leaving the UK for a week long holiday in Baska Voda.
I cannot recommend this highly enough.
I'm really pleased that we booked with them rather than our UK tour operator.
They use small mini buses so the tour is more personalised.
I would like to thank Ivan our driver and Fran, our guide in Dubrovnik. Both were excellent. We decided to spend 3 hrs in the city after our guided tour had finished. This was enough time to walk the city walls, eat and have a wander around the old city.
We enjoyed the tour so much for that we booked the Krka waterfall trip with Sunspot for later that same week and other people at our hotel also used our recommendation. Thanks again

Dear GILOLeeds, Thanks so much for Your review. We are so glad You had excellent time in Dubrovnik. We are really proud of not using big buses, but only mini vans and cars, since it really elevates the experience and helps our guests to arrive to destinations faster, and with more convenient means of transport. We booked with Sunspot Tours as we wanted a private excursion and we didn't like the sound of a guided tour with our hotel party.
And wow, I am so glad we did.
Anamaria provided an excellent, easy service from start to finish. Not only was she helpful, knowledgeable and accomodating, but she also made an effort to build a personable relationship with us and she has a real sense of humour!
Sunspot Tours went the extra mile for us.
Initially, we planned on doing Krka National Park and Plitvice Lakes on separate days but the weather wasn't great so they advised that we rescheduled.
So they organised something that they had never done before - 2 national parks in 1 day!
We got engaged on our holiday to Croatia and we were gifted with lovely chocolates from Anamaria and the team.
We were collected from our hotel doorstep at 7am and dropped off to our driver for the day just outside of town.
His name was Ivan- a very friendly driver who is incredibly knowledgeable and also proud of his country. He was with us for 9 hours in total and was fantastic company the whole way.
Our first stop was 3 miles from Makarska at Plitvice Lakes. This was a trip that we really wanted to do but our holiday company couldn't offer as it was a little while away.
Ivan dropped us off and bought our park tickets, advised us which route to take around the park for the best views and gave us his number to call him when we were ready to leave.
I've never been anywhere so beautiful in all my life. Truly the cherry on top of the best week of my life.
Ivan then took us to Krka National Park which was smaller but definitely worth the visit. We enjoyed learning about the old water mill and also spotted some lovely wildlife including frogs, lizards and birds!
Ivan took us back to the hotel and we were back spot on time for dinner.
We had a fantastic day- walked 10km in total. We were very tired but had the best day ever.
Thank you to Anamaria, Ivan and the whole Sunspot team for providing an excellent experience.
I would recommend them to anyone!

Having visited Split and Dubrovnick before on trips to Croatia , we wanted to have a more bespoke day trip to Zadar rather than travelling with the masses .Based in Omis we went with Sunspot Tours who ticked all our boxes and basically let us set our own pace.Travelling with 2 teenagers we were able to set our own timescale and itinerary which resulted in a really chilled ,enjoyable day .It was just over a 2 hour journey ,very comfortable mini van with wi fi ,which was great for the girls .Our driver Marco spoke really good English which was fab as our Croatian is non existent .
Zadar itself was quite unique and full of history .The Old City is known for it's Roman and Venetian ruins, with small narrow streets and old buildings , but it's a real mixture of ancient and modern .St.Mary's Convent and St.Anastasia's Cathedral are a wonder to see and The Sea Organ ,which was apparently constructed as an experimental music project is a unique experience . We sat on the steps together and listened to the sounds of the ocean singing .Not something you do everyday , wonderful , a bit like meditation .
Our guide took us in our little group of 4 and we had a great rapport as he was great fun and had so many great stories to tell us about Zadar .We stopped off for coffees and drinks on several occasions to keep us going. We took the coastal road back to Omis at the end of the day and were treated to some seriously impressive island views.
We stopped off at Sibenik on the journey back which was lovely and had fabulous food but didn't wander for too long as our feet were sore .After a short nap back in the mini bus we were delivered to our doorstep back in Omis .Would most definitely recommend this type of trip and this company to friends and family .In fact we are returning to Omis later this year and will most probably book the Dubrovnick trip as we learned so much having such a knowledgable guide.
