If prices are posted, shopping can be ok. Many shops DO NOT post prices and foreigners are going to pay far too much. Local shops only steps away from the Mercado have embroidered dresses for 1/3 of the price. Warning: DO NOT BUY embroidered dresses...More

Whatever you are looking for you are likely to find it here: hats or shirts, shoes or bags... and of course food, either raw or cooked. The market is huge so take your time to browse around.
