There are places in San Miguel where a Margarita costs more than the price of admission. For 120 pesos, you get admission to a recent movie, a drink (I highly recommend the Margarita), and a small bag of popcorn. There are two theatres but each has less than 30 seats. Most movies are in english but not all are... movies... More

I don't have much to add to the excellent reviews already posted, except to say that it did take us 10 days in SMA to find this place (online) and then another 30 minutes of wandering up and down the street to find the place (literally). I hadn't brought the address, assuming it would look like a theatre or that... More

Now costs 120 pesos. Nice enough place. Nice employees. Avoid the boss or you'll be in for a rude awakening, as most people in town know.

Shows current movies in English from countries around the world. Admission is around 100 pesos includes a drink and a bag of pop corn. Has two theatres with about 20 theater type seats in each. Excellent sound system. Has three different show times. Recommend to by you tickets in advance since the popular movies sell out. Good way to spend... More

This was a recommendation from friends who had previously visited SMA. It was cool and cloudy day so we decided to visit the Movie Pocket Theater. For around $6 we were treated to delicious cocktail of our choice, a small bag of popcorn and an old movie. There is not a better way to spend cloudy cold day. The staff... More

Great place to see good films, both current and vintage,-------------cost is reasonable and includes a drink of your choice and popcorn.

The Pocket Theater is a great place to see a first run movie or even a classic. The theaters have fewer than 20 seats. The screen is right sized and the sound is good. You get a bag of popcorn (palamitas) and a drink. That is a deal.

We had been to this theater several times and very much enjoyed it but upon arriving to see our pre-reserved movie a few years ago we were told very rudely that we had no reservation and in fact had no showed for a different movie the previous night. Even though the girl who was behind the counter when I booked... More

The Pocket Theater-San Miguel actually includes 2 intimate theaters which allow 2 features to be shown each day with multiple showings. Entrance entitles you to a seat for the film, a drink (wine, beer, margarita or soft drink) and a bag of pop corn. All films that are not in English have English subtitles. The Pocket Theater has first run films... More
