While I was in San Miguel, I wondered where the banda de Guerra (marching band) was at, since we heard it practicing every day in the evening. One day, we finally walked in the opposite direction to el Jardin, and found the park. It is great. Kudos to Guanajuato government for maintaining this multi-use park in the middle of this... More

Perfect spot to go early in the morning with a cup of coffee for a stroll. Beautiful collection of plants and waking paths. On weekends there are loads of families, balloon vendors, artists and basketball players enjoying this public, shady spot.

A perfect place to take a walk and get away from the cars & crowded streets of San Miguel. Lovely sculptures, fountains, big trees and flowering plants; and a center "plaza" where morning classes are offered such as zumba & tai chi mambo!

In the mornings I would take my son to the park in the stroller, he loved it. He is 9 months old but enjoyed our walks to the park. We walked about 3 laps or so around the whole park. He would just look at the dogs, people, birds, etc. Good place for family, this was my childhood park, always... More

this is the biggest park in san miguel and very active from watching basketball, buying treats, and seeing many local artists sell their wares ... a short walk from town in one of san miguel nicest areas ... you walk to the park one way and back the other for viewing small shops and restaurants along the way ... the... Great large park that doubles as the scene for many festivals and local events during the year. Pick up basketball or even some art galleries. Kids playground. Beautiful grounds. Nice walking park. Center of town and always alive with locals and music or something going on. Very chill also. Peaceful and relaxing but not a dull park.

This historic park is a delight. Filled with winding paths, basketball courts and even a playground for the kids. Many locals and visitors use the park for daily exercise as the pathways are level. Especially beautiful during fhe February Candalaria event - the park does sponsor many activities The gazebo has live music. Just a delight.

This centrally located park is a wonderful place to stroll and people watch. There is often Zumba, basketball and runners frequenting the park so it makes for a very entertaining place to wander through. On the weekends you will find artists selling their wairs as well.

Any runner will find the streets uneven and crowded, but Parque Juarez has a paved path that works great.

This is a lovely park for old and young. We went to the public Zumba class at 8:30 on Saturdays (at the basketball court), which was great fun. Who doesn't want to start their weekend in San Miguel with a bit of a wiggle and a giggle!?
