Parque Juarez is a veritable oasis in the middle of a bustling tourist town. It is shady with many benches to just sit and watch life go by. It is mostly a destination for Mexican families - playing league basketball, getting married, romancing or letting the little ones run around on the playground. There are concessions with refreshments. It is incredibly clean and well-kept. For me, it is my favorite spot in all of San Miguel.

Loved Parque Juarez. Walked and did a little jogging early in the morning and even joined a fun and fairly competitive game of pickup basketball. Lots of pretty, isolated areas to sit and chill, read, drink a coffee, or people-watch. Highly recommend spending some time there whether you're going for exercise or to relax. Super-friendly people throughout the park.

I enjoyed the squealing of children on the playground, the couples canoodling on secluded shaded benches, and the vendors selling their wares.

Gorgeous park with a top notch playground for kids! Our kids (ages 3.5 to 6) loved the playground inside this park. Climbing structures, swings, slide set all with a fence around it to prevent them from running away. We went several times during our week-long stay in SMDA.

We visited on 16th Feb. According to posters, the flower festival was over but the whole park was still full of people selling amazing flowers. It was gorgeous to walk around. As we are visitors, I don’t know how permanent these flower stalls are. But even without them it would be a nice place to walk around and it’s a lovely area. Combine it with a trip to the amazing Luna rooftop bar at the top of the Rosewood Hotel which is very nearby.

Always one of my favorite places to visit in SMA. If you are lucky enough to to be here the first two weeks of February, then you also get to experience Candelaria. Wow, what an experience for all plant lovers.

We spent about an hour walking and sitting people-watching in this park. We enjoyed our time here. Walking here from the Centro allowed us to see some nice houses on the way. Also forced me to read up on Benito Jaurez while sitting in the park.

Parque Juarez is a jewel of tranquility and beauty and on weekends artists have their work on display. It's like walking in a tropical serene and gentle oasis.

The people who come in here with their pets do not clean up after their pets. The beautiful park is ruined by these dog poo.
