Highly Recommend: good school, helpful teachers, great city!

Let’s see, how shall I begin? San Miguel is great! (which you can read about, I don’t know…everywhere!) I was doing a thorough search to figure out in what Latin American country... read more

The teachers here are great. There is a series of curriculum books, but they were not followed very closely. The technology here is bad. No computers/printers for the students to use and the WiFi works only (and poorly) in the main office area. The location is about a 10-minute walk from the center of town. The home stay where I was... Let’s see, how shall I begin? San Miguel is great! (which you can read about, I don’t know…everywhere!) I was doing a thorough search to figure out in what Latin American country I should enroll in Spanish classes; and stumbled across what I considered a pretty good deal at Habla Hispana in San Miguel de Allende. I knew I wanted... More

Wonderful experience for two reasons. I have been to other Latin American schools -this is best. 1-San Miguel de Allende. Great town. Not too big, tons to do, music, great restaurants, theater, beautiful architecture, walk everywhere, people very friendly and honest, fantastic weather, archeological sites. 2-The school Habla Hispana. Teachers are smart, intuitive, want you to succeed, flexible, very experienced,... More

I spent a great three weeks at Habla Hispana this February. My teacher Martha was excellent. We studied grammar half of the time and then the other half of the time we worked on conversation which is what I really need to practice. It was just the right mix for me of grammar and actually using the language and Martha... More

Every now and again you come across a truly gifted teacher. I was fortunate to cross paths with Sucoro at Habla Hispana. I had taken some Spanish lessons at another school. I had become quite expert at completing grammatical exercises and increasing my vocabulary but I felt like a deer in headlights whenever anybody spoke to me in Spanish. That... More

This was our second time to study at Habla Hispana. Last year my sister and I came for a week and took private lessons with different teachers, as we were at different levels. Because of our wonderful experience, we decided to return for 3 weeks this year and be part of a class at Habla Hispana. I have been studying... More

This is a great place to learn Spanish. It seems to be excellent for university students as they make arrangements for students to reside with families. The students learn so much more that way.

You can't go wrong with this school(Martha and Tere). I am a Mexican native raised in the U.S. And needed to learn about my culture and brush up on my Spanish. Martha and Tere helped me with all of what I needed. The school didn't put up any barriers like the other Spanish school, they were so helpful and easy... More

I have studied at several Spanish schools over the years, including three in SMA. Habla Hispana is by far the best. The teachers have lots of training and education. While you'll have one primary teacher, depending upon the level you're placed into, the daily schedule also includes conversation hours with the other teachers, so you have the benefit of lots... The wonderful folks at Habla have enriched my Spanish studies off and on for over 10 years now. Since I live in San Miguel I take advantage of private classes with Martha now. But early in our lives here my husband and I took group classes to get us talking with the basics. So one can start with the basics... More
