We met at the library for a tour that was departing from there and were delighted to find a group of extremely talented minstrels that entertained us with their music . From what I could gather the musicians play there every Sunday from 11 - 12pm . They played different music to the Mariachi's and it was so worth it... More

Everyone needs to go to the library to find out what events are being there and they have a nice gift shop along with a nice cafe that has good lemon aid.

This lovely library offers not only a wide variety of bilingual bound books housed in interesting rooms, but classes for adults and children in art, language, computer sciences and more. An intimate stone wall theater is the venue for lectures, plays, music, and films. The patio cafe has a healthy interesting menu. And there's much more! Visit and explore this... More

La Biblioteca has a number of functions from a lending library, to a movie and live entertainment. It has a number of charitable activities such as raising money for deserving Mexicans' education and teaching English. On Sunday, the Biblioteca sponsors group trips to San Miguel homes, most luxurious expat's homes, but all interesting. Before the busses depart, the gringos gather... More

Fun spot to stop by. The library is not a traditional library. It has an open air center surrounded by many rooms. It looked like they offer language and music lessons. We saw plenty of kids doing homework in the beautiful setting. There is a nice gift shop as well.

The Library is a cultural institution that also organizes tours for visitors. Besides being a Library, offering classes, a charming courtyard with live music, and a cafe.

We've been coming to the facility for over 6 years. It provides residents and visitors alike with theater, movies, music, dance and a continually changing art exhibit. The cafe is a lovely patio scene with WiFi and a menu with daily specials. The murals are a treasure. The library's central plaza is perfect for reading, taking a Spanish lesson or... More
