One who visit the city should come twice. One in the morning to listen to the misa and the second time around 21:00 - the lights

Iconic Church downtown of San Miguel Allende build during mid XIX one of the few Gothic architecture you find around the country. A must visit when you're in San Miguel Allende, you just can't miss it.

Under new management, the Mexican dishes here continue to be outstanding! Enchiladas always excellent and the best flan in town!

Especially beautiful at night, all lit-up, with it's amazing colors & architectural features. Easy to spot from anywhere in the city, and located on the central plaza.

I find great solace when visiting the Parroquia - it's quiet, there's beautiful sculptures and artwork, and has an environment conducive for meditation. Highly recommend a visit; you may see a wedding or two.

The Parroquia is interesting for a variety of reasons; the 19th C renovation being the most obvious. But it also represents the blending of old religions with the new. It has marvelous murals, tiles and crypts as well.

Having been a resident of Mexico for 17 years, I've seen numerous cathedrals. While San Miguel Arcangel isn't the most impressive I've seen, as part of the historical walking tour, offered by volunteers with Patronato Pro Ninos, it is a highlight. It's the best way to see the cathedral and the city's historic heart.

I went to a mass in this church and the service was beautiful. The church is too. The design of the chuch is unique as is its pink exterior.
