Aug 6 is White Linen Day. We were invited to the Aurora, a huge building with shops and art galleries. Most people wore white, there was food and drink in all the galleries, the artists were on hand. and I bought a beautiful red, white, and blue handmade jacket.

A huge building filled with numerous art galleries of all types, including photography, textiles, glass, ceramics, sculpture, paintings, and all media, traditional to contemporary. Our whole group loved this place. It is a bit of a walk from the plaza (40 min?) but we stopped at a nearby lunch spot (Dana's) that was wonderful. The traditional "mercado" is also nearby;... More

What a place for goodies! Art, antiques, dishes, linens, accessories, jewels, interesting handbags, decor, statues... It's a wow! And delightful place to eat lightly as well. No charge to enter. Fabulous.

Lovely art & jewelry here. The prices are more than at the markets downtown SMA but the quality & craftmanship exceed what you find many places. You won't want to miss this lovely place especially if you are looking for the unique .

I absolutely loved the huge space that was now divided into sizable work space for a wide variety of talents. Great cafes give you an opportunity to meet and greet and pass the time in perfect atmosphere and incredible food and drink. Can't wait to go back

Many interesting galleries. A fairly long walk from the old downtown area, the last km or so is not beautiful. Casa la Aurora is a large space with many galleries. Interesting to walk around. Three place to eat, two near the entrance. We ate at the 3rd place, which was fine for lunch. Just ok, but a significant investment in... More
