Fabrica La Aurora is a short walk from Casa Calderoni. Don't miss seeing Merry Calderoni's gallery. Fabulous! Fine art, jewelry, decor, etc

The main cafe there has a very good full menu. We started several days there with breakfast and browsing the beautiful galleries. These are no pressure galleries staffed by friendly and knowledgeable assistants. Don't be shy, say hello and ask about a piece of art;they will educate you with a smile. Leave the kids behind as there is nothing here... More

Just a few blocks from the plaza, you can find 100s of artists under one roof. Whether you are looking for antiques or art to clothes and jewelry, it is here. Definitely a great place to spend a few hours. And check out the restaurants as well - both were great.

Definitely worth a short taxi ride or great walk from the plaza. From art to antiques to textiles, this place has it all. Spend an hour or two browsing the many shops and taking in the unique setting along the way.

Really enjoyed visiting. Beautifully set out and original art, fabrics and ceramics. Places to eat were reasonably priced and good toilets. Easy taxi ride but you need to walk back out to the road to get a taxi back to town.

This is worth a full day or two half days if you have time. There are many galleries here with wall art, sculpture, fabrics, garden decor, clothing, jewelry, as well as three nice choices for lunch.

If you appreciate art and antiques, you can spend 3 to 4 hours in a very well kept setting of what used to be a textile factory. There are dozens of galleries in which in some cases you can find the artists themselves working in their shops. The two coffee shops offer pretty decent snacks or meals for every taste.... More

Bought several pieces of art and had them shipped home. A great place in SMA! This building (an old factory) is a grouping of shops, galleries and studios and it is world class.

I did so much of this type of sight seeing as a kid that im not that thrilled. Lots of expensive shops and restaurants. The sculptures that we have seen were fantastic.i like that they kept alot of the original machinery and have black and white photos of the working factory

We enjoyed our visit to La Aurora. The range of art was impressive. The prices are dry reasonable. There are also antique vendors and teh restaurant is a pleasant rest stop.
