What an amazing experience! Jo Brenzo is a fabulous instructor who not only knew Cuba, but also got us into the Public Ballet for students! She also took individuals to the homes of the locals giving us a deep personal connection! Time was taken for photo reviews! Jo’s workshop was comprehensive on every level from what to pack to our daily itinerary. She also was available for individual questions and critique, which i have not experienced on other workshops! Jo has tremendous knowledge of photo technique, editing and knowledge of the country! If you are looking for a “real” teacher who will let you grow as a photographer, I highly recommend her workshop- I plan to go on her trip to Argentina-

We first visited her gallery for one of the Saturday morning free workshops. Jo is a wonderful artist with quite an eye. He pics are amazing and she has many trips that she takes her students on. We spoke to several and they raced about traveling with her. A must visit in SMA.

Every trip I have ever taken with her begins with a "C". Cuba. Columbia. Copper Canyon. All three of those trips were sensational experiences. I cannot say enough good things about Jo and her photo expedition groups. Jo is a tireless traveler. She is deeply committed both to her own photography and to passing along her wealth of experience to others. Not only are her trips educational, but they are also wonderful adventures with other fun people. If you're looking for opportunities to improve your photo skills in unique travel destinations, go anywhere with Jo.

I am currently on a fabulous workshop of Guatemala with Jo. She takes very small groups and gives one on one instruction. She knows fabulous locations that are every photographers dream. Days are spent photographing fabulous locations and evenings are spent with photo review and help from Jo. I feel that I’ve reached a new level in my photography and look forward to many more tours and workshops with Jo. I’ve taken photoshop and street photography workshops with Jo and her patience and level of teaching have helped me leap forward in my skills. I highly recommend her gallery, the Saturday informative free workshops and her numerous interesting small classes that she offers.

I was very lucky to find this gallery before traveling to SMDA. JO is wonderful and a great coach/instructor. Small classes at a reasonable price. Good community feel with a mix of local and international photographers. I plan to participate again when I travel this October.
