The view is wonderful, and there's a little souvenir shop, too. We first tried walking to the mirador that is accessible by car only and got lost. A very nice young woman explained the difference and showed us the way to the other one on...More

It's worth a trip up there to get a view of the city. There's a place to park just off the street. The cathedral is the most obvious structure.

We walked from the catedral to the Mirador and it was an easy 20 minute uphill walk. As long as you're somewhat fit and able, use directions from Google Maps and walk up. The little streets and callejon were beautiful! The views are even better...More

It is quite a hike to the Mirador so I suggest you take a cab unless you want to get your exercise in. The Mirador provides great views of SMA and there are some local shops with various wares.

We walked up to this viewpoint, surprised at how much there was up there on the hill. There was a great view over all of the city, plus public bathrooms and some stores selling the usual Mexican items.

We walked up to it, which was not really that difficult. It is worth the trip for the views, which are pretty good.

It's a breathtaking walk up the hill, with many steps to get to El Mirador, The view is nice but not spectacular. Been there once.... An easier way to get there is to take the trolley tour, which has versions in both Spanish and English,...More

A nice view of the city but a steady climb. I would suggest taking a taxi or the trolley bus to the top and then wander the street back to the city. Better views can be seen from some of the rooftop restaurants.

What a great way to get your cardio workout and be rewarded with a knockout view. We enjoyed our walk up through the garden and then the view was just beautiful. It’s no wonder why so many people love SMA.

This is an interesting question. First of all, regarding the ceremony, we would assume that you need a priest or a justice of the peace. For the priest, you would need to go and contact one at any of the local churches... More
