If you are into trees, this tree is a must-see in Sicily. It is supposed to be 2,000-4,000 years old! A quick Google search will turn up its history for you. The tree has a non-descript green fence around its perimeter. Clearly, the town is...More

The plaques around the tree as well as the local lore of the tree claims it is the oldest tree in the world*. It is an interesting old tree but do a quick internet search, not for the tree itself but "world's oldest trees" and...More

The tree is large. And Old. No doubt. Nice park area and a good place to stretch your legs - but you need not make a special trip to see this.

This chestnut tree is simply amazing, it is huge and just about jaw dropping. We visited in dusk and even in the fading light it was beautiful in it's grandness. Must visit if you are in the area.

There is a really kind playground for kids. There is a beautiful grove near the huge chestnut. Everything is really lovely. Ideal for an afternoon with your children and a dinner with a typical pizza!
