Ο Άγιος Πέτρος είναι ένας από τους προστάτες του Adrano και η εκκλησία του κατασκευάστηκε κατά το 150 αιώνα. Νεότερες έρευνες δείχνουν ότι πιθανότατα προϋπήρχε στην ίδια θέση άλλη εκκλησία, από το 13ο αιώνα. Μετά το σεισμό του 1693, ανακατασκευάστηκε σε μεγάλο βαθμό και πήρε τη σημερινή μορφή της. Στην εκκλησία ξεχωρίζει η κατασκευασμένη από λάβα μπαρόκ είσοδος και το επιβλητικό καμπαναριό με το ρολόι. Το εσωτερικό έχει ενδιαφέροντα διάκοσμο από τοιχογραφίες, ανάγλυφα, θρησκευτικούς πίνακες και γλυπτά.

Soggiorno in Sicilia a Ottobre

Questa chiesa del secolo XV è dedicata ad uno dei santi patroni della città. Come tutte le chiese della zona etnea è in gran parte in pietra lavica. E' stata ricostruita dopo il terremoto del 1693. Non è stato possibile visitarla all'interno, perchè era chiusa.

Chiesa sorta nel XV secolo e rimaneggiata. bel portale barocco in pietra lavica, e campanile ricostruito dopo il terremoto del 1603. All'interno opere pittoriche di Zoppo da Gangi e della sua scuola, notevole anche il gruppo scultoreo, rivestito in argento cesellato, raffigurante Cristo che consegna le chiavi a San Pietro.

Vivo da 15 anni nella zona e le campane di notte no , chiedo una petizione , la notte suonano 3 campane (san pietro , rosario , santa chiara) diverse non si può dormire.
