An awesome spot to stop for a bit. Very beautiful but you need to be careful because it's difficult to reach. Amazing pictures and time that you can spend over there.

Great waterfall to go and spend a nice time, access is fairly easy, you'll need to go down a few rocks but when you reach the spot you'll feel it was worth it.

From the three must known waterfalls in Gerês (this one, arado and Tahiti) this was my favorite. It is a little bit more quiet if you go at early morning. You should be cautious getting there because of the slippery rocks

It's not just the waterfall, but the spot as a whole that is really beautiful, and the climb down is easy to do

Definitely, is a beautiful waterfall, but no easy access. We carefully, trailed down to lagoon area with our kids. Kids won't be able to access waterfall area though.

Didn't quite live up to the expectations. We were there on a sunny sunday and there were too many screaming children to enjoy the waterfall.

I went here on the strength of the other reviews on this site. It's certainly worth the journey. We came up from the Portuguese side and the drive up was incredible. Steep winding roads have beautiful views of the valleys below. The location itself was...More

This is a great hiking spot. You can walk through the stones into the falls, or just go around and up, to see the falls. Either way, you have to do both! Perfect. :-)

Very tricky to access - definitely not suitable for people with limited mobility or simply clumsy. But perfect and a must do for young, adventurous and outdoor activities lovers.
