Perfect for a stop with beautiful view
Oct 2020 • Family
Barbaresco is this nice little village where it seems that everybody owns or works in vineyard. This beautiful tower is just behind the Church and next to the place where they bring the grapes to be squashed to make the wine. One can get to the top of the tower walking or with two elevators. After the first elevator, you buy the ticket and if you walk up on the three upper floors can see pictures and some explanations on the area. The view from the top is fantastic and you realize how beautiful this region is. Definitely worth a stop when traveling through.

Perfect stop during an afternoon drive from Asti to Alba for sightseeing
May 2019
We enjoyed stretching our legs at this well-renovated old tower for some beautiful 360 degree views of the Tanaro River Valley in Piedmonte.
We got some of the best photographs on the rooftop here during our trip.
With such clear views, we found the brochure helpful in explaining what towns we were looking at. A keeper for sure.

Nice experience
Sep 2019
The tower is an experience in combination with the Wine-Tasting. There are higher places, there are more panoramic views. That what is described here about wine history is not really "breathtaking". Apart from the top floor and the first floor, the tower is also uninteresting for tourists.
Important: easily accessible by elevator, you can bring your dog with you, which doesn't cost anything extra.

Stunning 360 degree views from top of the tower
Sep 2019
One of many towers in Piedmont. Not all are open. This one is open for a modest fee and has an elevator leading to awe-inspiring views of surrounding vineyards and hills, some also with towers. This is a most beautiful area that is best seen from above.

We went here for aperitivo and it was amazing. The view, the prosecco, the food... truly a memory I will cherish forever. Thank you! :)

Awesome view of Tanaro's valley
Jun 2019 • Family
A place to go if you are in the area. Enjoy a beautiful view from above of the whole surrounding area, including river Tanaro and nearby cities.

It’s an ok tower with s great view but not in keeping with the great towers of Italy. Climb to the top if you must and see forever.

Best public view in the Langhe
May 2018 • Family
On a day with good visibility, the Torre di Barbaresco is the place to go for one of the best panoramic views of Piemonte. Alps to the north and west, vineyards all around, the Tanaro River below, and lots of hilltop villages punctuated by castles in Roero and Langhe. All can be seen from up here on a clear day.

Well worth a visit but dont have a glass of wine here
Dec 2017 • Couples
Wonderful reconstruction of the tower, very interesting to see inside and take in the view of the Langhe and Tanaro river from the top.
If you want a glass of Barbaresco dont have it here, served in a plastic glass for safety reasons which I understand but the wine was pretty disappointing for Barbaresco.
Better to visit Boffa after you came back down to ground, enjoy a surperior wine with a great view and snacks.
Best to visit on a clear day.
