We went here for aperitivo and it was amazing. The view, the prosecco, the food... truly a memory I will cherish forever. Thank you! :)

We enjoyed stretching our legs at this well-renovated old tower for some beautiful 360 degree views of the Tanaro River Valley in Piedmonte.
We got some of the best photographs on the rooftop here during our trip.
With such clear views, we found the brochure helpful in explaining what towns we were looking at. A keeper for sure.

One of many towers in Piedmont. Not all are open. This one is open for a modest fee and has an elevator leading to awe-inspiring views of surrounding vineyards and hills, some also with towers. This is a most beautiful area that is best seen from above.

Great experience from the Torre de Barbaresco, with a view of the village and the surroundings with the river. Funny or over-the-top is the so-called 'romantic' music they play on top of the tower. I would like the sound of the surroundings.

Almost skipped this, and glad we didn't. Views were spectacular, though we unfortunately were there on a cloudy day. The enigmatic history was fascinating. Some nice multimedia screens to explore what's known about the various eras of the tower's history. VERY COOL SITE.

Interesting and highly sophisticated 'moving scenery' that emulates from the floor of the upper tower as you assend the stairs. Really worth the visit for its 'birds eye view' who's footage was seemingly was taken from a helicopter.

Stopped by to purchase some wine in Barbaresco and while my bottles were getting boxed, I tool a stroll up to the tower. It has a stunning view of the surrounding area..
worth the visit.
Best if in a sunny day, potentially even better if windy so that the wind takes all the clouds and smog away to have a better 360 view. Not suited for a rainy day....

It’s hard to imagine a more picturesque place than the village of Barbaresco. A walk through the village passes some of the region’s best wine producers and ends at the Torre, a tower that seemingly affords views of all of Piemonte. The walk up the tower (with its glass floors) can be a bit disconcerting for those who feel a touch of a Acrophobia, but views over the hills -- 360 degrees over the rooftops of the village and the valleys beyond -- are a must for any visitor to the area.

We could see the Torre from our hotel, but didn't realise we could visit until we arrived in Barbaresco. We were lucky enough to be there on a sunny day at harvest time and this was a treat in itself. We went up to the panorama area at the top of the tower which has been very sympathetically realised. The view over the vineyards is breathtaking, and the brochure is very thorough in its information. Walking downstairs through the tower there was a lot of interesting reading to be down. Lovely place, and I think we would return happily.

The ancient tower has been beautifully restored, the top turned into a large terrace with a stunning 360 degrees view of the surrounding area, across the piemontese hills all the way to the imposing alps. The entry fee is 5 euro per person, with the view being well worth the price. A tip for visitors: what they did not advertise when we were there and we found out by chance - for a small surcharge (in our case 12 euro for 3 people) you can have a very nice glass of local wine served on the terrace with some grissini to enjoy while taking in the amazing view. Best time to visit is shortly before sunset with the alps glowing in flaming red.
