Great crew and great location - beware of conditions

Big thanks to Nate, Laurie and Nick for their help today. Tried to go out cross-country skiing, but conditions were a bit too icy. I am no expert by any mean, but there was no way... read more

Big thanks to Nate, Laurie and Nick for their help today. Tried to go out cross-country skiing, but conditions were a bit too icy. I am no expert by any mean, but there was no way any of the trails were "easy" today. Ended up exchanging my skis for some snowshoes and had an awesome time. Followed their recommendations for... You have to register for this tour. It starts at the bottom of strawberry lift, at the Nordic center. You will get some nice snowshoes and learn how to use them. The tour will have you walk up, it is not difficult but fun. It keeps you warm though! Our very friendly guide was very knowledgeable. Going down, we had... More

We took a break from skiing and spent a half day in Mccoy Park. We took a guided tour of the park on snow shoes and it was great. We loved the views and our guide Dana was very informative. It was a good work out but with many breaks so if you are not that physically fit you will... More

This is a beautiful place and snowshoeing would have been wonderful but XC skiing is not. The information we received about conditions were overstated. For cross-country skiing this is a very expensive place ($38 without rentals) and requires an open chairlift up to the trails. The day we went only part of the trails were groomed. Skate lanes are shared... More

The Beaver Creek Nordic Center is a great time! A beautiful ride up the lift and then fantastic views while snowshoeing begins. A fun diversion from skiing and something different to do when staying in Beaver Creek for 10 days!

I had never tried to Snow Shoe before this trip. It is the best workout I have ever done. You are still in the mountains, but burning 4X more calories than skiing. The manager of the facility and the staff are super helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The park where you snow shoe is pristine. They don't allow snow boarders or... More

The complimentary snowshoe tour which was told to us by hotel concierge was a lot of fun. We got to slide down the hills on our bottoms if we wanted to. Age range for our group was 6-75. Ample resting and joke telling by the guide. The staff were all nice and friendly. The hot chocolate and cookies afterwards were... More

Wow what a very enjoyable walk in snow shoes around a green run and beaver creek village, I have never done snow shoeing before but I loved it so will be doing it again. Tom from Alaska was so informative about the local nature, wildlife and habitats of Beaver Creek and Colorado. And to finish off they gave us free hot... More

Allow yourself plenty of time so you can see all 3 vistas. Staff are fun, knowledgable and very helpful. If you have the Epic season pass the lift should be free. Leave nothing but snow angels behind.
