Boyes Drive is perfect for two reasons; you get to bypass crazy St James / Kalk Bay traffic and you get to enjoy incredible views. Plenty of parking / stop off points if you want to pull over.
Come in whale season if you can!

This is such a beautiful drive, where we can see Muizenberg from above and the beautiful seascape all the way to Simonstown. On a good day, once can see right across the bay. . it is well worth the drive!!

Every where we went we used Boyes Drive as it is so lovely. The beach scene below with the surfers and the bathers is like a carpet. Pure white sand and blue sea make this place to stop and take dreamy pictures.
