We are a family with three children (14, 9, 5). The road to get there is bumpy, but it is worth it. The cenotes are impressive and everything is well organized. The guide who accompanied us seemed to take respect for the place and the explanations provided were interesting. The water is crystal clear, the caves are beautiful. Everything lasts about 2 hours. Bring your water shoes to be more comfortable. Mayan “protection” ceremony of about 5min (and 100pesos for the family) before the entrance to the caves, a bit kitch and only thing that seemed a bit catchy to us; but it is short and it does not detract from the charm of the place. We recommend it!

Tickets were purchased externally by some of "Sec. Tourism" in 550 each, the basic package: 3 cenotes. She said it was 750 each ticket, but at the box office the girl said 800. They don't agree on prices, I guess they're worth cheaper but at the box office they won't burn... The road is not easy to reach, because it is terrasseria, and a lot of mosquito. Outside of that, very nice the cenotes, crystal clear water, you can be all day, the guides are friendly. I recommend it.

Really cool experience! A guide will lead you into the cenotes and tell you all about them. One of the cenotes you can repel into. Water is cool and refreshing. There was food and music in the main courtyard. Water shoes are available for rent or bring your own.

That's four beautiful cenotes! Very well organized and with well established safety standards. The super friendly guide. The road to get there is quite deteriorated, but it is only a kilometer from the Cancun-Tulum road. Highly recommended.

Total tourist rip-off. Europeans pay double the entrance fee and are announced in advance by walkie-talkie. Good cooperation between collective taxis and the operators of the cenote (as there are good agreements about the rip-off). An American couple had to pay $200 to visit and that was without a "guide" when it normally only costs $35 per person. I have seen nicer and cheaper cenotes... when I said that the entrance fee seemed very high to me, the woman behind the glass yelled at me: "Eso es el precio..." According to the motto "take it and leave it"... No thanks. Unfortunately it's not worth it. And at the end there was a note saying "you should give a tip"... That wasn't included. Hadn't they already taken plenty of that beforehand??

I have visited several Cenotes during my 4-weeks trip in Mexico. It’s a nice place, but not the most beautiful one. I liked the stone formation and the area, it was realty nicely done. But it was so many people in there!!! Overcrowding!
The price of 40$ is too much for this!!!!
I was wondering why I can not buy a tickets without a tour. It was 3 Cenotes which were opened and not 4 as they told me in the entry area. The maya ceremony and the zipline is just done with a purpose to hold the people. if everyone will come to the same time to the same area, then I would be any space available at all.
I didn’t like the maya ceremony, it not about a cacred place, it about preventing a tourist to go to the same time, to the same place.
The Cenotes are not big and not deep, but it’s not even, so you can hurt yourself easily.
Basically, it’s almost impossibly to swim.
It has an electric lights, which was very nice. As they were closing, they have switched the lights off and I was on the other side of the cenote and has to find my way out on the complied darkness. It was very dangerous.

They want to charge 600 Pessos or 40 USD.
If u are paying with a card, they want to charge additionally 5% card fees on top, which I have NEVER heard of. The regular card fees are 2%, so they even want to earn the money in that.

In total, it’s a nice place to see the stones and water, but it’s too expensive, that’s why I will not come back. I also didn’t like, that they were telling me about 4 Cenotes and it was just 3 opened. I don’t believe that the lady on the information didn’t know that.

Amazing few hours here highly recommend if you like nature and water. It took us a minute to find the entrance with our car - it has a little car gate that someone will lift up for you - next to a little office looking space. Easy to miss. From there you drive a few minutes on a winding bumpy road. We were greeted by a guide as soon as we arrived who explained everything to us clearly. You get to see a Mayan cultural ritual, get your life vest/mask (leave a deposit) and optional water shoes - recommend or bring your own the cenotes have sharp rocks.
Loved all of the cenotes each was a little different (short walk to each one). Our guide Alan showed us around once inside the water and pointed out wildlife and told us many stories. He was great!
We were with a family who had three children, at one point or another one would sit out (tired or scared of the darkness) but it was safe enough for them to sit off to the side and wait. Highly recommend! Highlight of our trip to Tulum!

Fabulous Cenote to visit - we went early and virtually had the place to ourselves. We organised our own transport and got there just after the gates opened. Our first visit to a Cenote. It's set in the jungle and because it's down a dirt road doesn't have big coach trips. We got there and were met by a guide who accompanied us throughout. We took a waterproof phone cover so we could take our own shots as if you buy there they are expensive. 3 cenotes were open when we visited so after the Mayan ceremony which I thought was a nice touch we were guided through each separate cenote. You can descend into one via a rope which I recommend, it's very safe. These are not open Cenotes but they are not fully enclosed so we were happy inside them all, but there were some younger kids who didn't enjoy it and my teenage daughter wasn't sure. The rest of our group loved it. It's rocky underfoot and you go through by swimming, wading and occasional scramble so probably not for you if you are a bit unsteady on your feet. Once inside they were magical, cool, calm with sunlight filtering through. Totally unspoiled too. After the guided tour you were free to head back under your own steam and spend as long as you liked there, if you part of an organised trip I think there are time constraints. Once outside there are hammocks amongst the trees and a really reasonably priced cafe selling a few mexican dishes and lots of ice cold drinks and beers. There are butterflies flying around as your relax. Can't compare it to others as this was the only cenote we visited but if you want an authentic, not too touristy option pick this one, It was fab. Highly recommend

We bought the most complete ticket ($2000mxcn x 2 pax), the tour included 4 cenotes, Rappel, Zip Line, Quads and Mayan Ceremony. The administrator decided not to give us the zip line because she wanted to charge us separately ($300mxcn per person), a huge lack of respect, because not only did she treat our seller very badly but she played with our time and money. A shame because the park is very nice and the staff are very friendly. Be careful when buying your tickets because you may encounter this situation.

While we were staying at an all inclusive resort about 30 minutes outside of Tulum, we decided to visit a cenote. There are many of these clear water caves throughout the Yucatán and many different tours to choose from. Our past experiences with tours and all inclusive resorts is that with multiple resort/hotel pick ups the total tour time can increase by 3-4 hours! We decided to take a cab to this location (20 minutes was about $35 USD.) It was a bit difficult to find as the small, two story, white entrance building was not marked at all (this space screams for some good branding.) We then purchased the ATV and Cenote package for around $85 each. We boarded a van for a long, bumpy ride into the jungle. Upon arrival at the park, we met our guide Nazario. He was EXCELLENT! Spoke Spanish, English, and Mayan! Because we were earlier in the morning, we ended up having a private tour! They do offer you a separate photo package where a photographer will follow your tour and take pictures of your adventure for $65 USD. We passed as we used our phones in waterproof pouches. We rode ATVs throughout the jungle - quite the thrilling experience! Then we were led to a short Mayan blessing to cleanse our spirits before entering the four cenotes. If you’re up for it, you can harness up for a 6 meter repel into the first cenote. I passed, but took pictures of my husband! I took the stairs to meet him. There are four cenotes in all. Each had crystal clear blue water, some flying wildlife, and small fish. Nazario led us through the waters and gave wonderful information about the history of cenotes and their contents. Again, being early we had the cenotes to ourselves! Very tranquil and peaceful! It was a great experience! The property does have a bar and food stand, but we passed because we were due back at the resort. After taking us back to the entrance on the van, they were able to call us another cab. Make sure to negotiate the same price you paid to get there!
The total time there was about 3 hours, plus the 20 minutes cab each way. We were back at the resort for lunch. Weigh out the pros and cons for your group and schedule. My husband speaks fluent Spanish, so that comes in handy! Again, thanks to Nazario for a wonderful time.

We were recommended the cenote by Martin from Martin's Homys Tours when we told him we were looking from a quite and beautiful cenote. The cenotes themself were absolutely wonderful with beautiful natural rock formations, fossils, and relaxing calcium infused water, and the grounds surrounding them were wonderful with many fun statues for photo opportunities. Our tour guide Denis was also great; he was very knowledgeable about the cenotes as well as the Mayan history relevant to the cenotes. The water was very clean and the temperature was welcome after roasting in Tulum all morning but a little but of a shock to the system. This is a great cenote if you are looking for somewhere beautiful and not too busy. The baby coati Frida was also a nice touch.

We had an amazing experience at Yax-muul . We didn’t have much time in Tulum and had resigned ourselves that we could only visit 1 cenote and expected crowds.
We were completely blown away by this place. We were maybe lucky that it wasn’t really crowded on the day we visited or we had missed the busy time (we arrived at 12.30pm).
It’s a very relaxed atmosphere. We declined the photos and we left to enjoy the 4 cenotes there. Most of the time we were there alone or with one other couple/group. We were given life-vests and you could borrow snorkelling gear too. We didn’t feel the need. Our very skinny 6 year old also had something that fit her too.
We spent a couple of hours there and once we were done ate at the restaurant. The food was good and we had a great time. The little shop selling trinkets was also very nice.
Definitely worth a visit when short on time.

The park is very cute, clean. I will recommended. You can swim and take cute pictures. The lockers you can rent them and they give you the $5 back when you return the key. So make sure you have change. The staff is friendly and helpful.

My friend and I came here as part of an organised tour that also included swimming with turtles off Akumal beach.

This was the second part of the day and as we made our way with our lovely guide Angie to the cenote, we spotted some coatis running around the area which was lovely.

The larger cenote felt so cool and fresh once beneath the waters and we were really surprised at how quiet it was. It felt like a private tour and we felt very fortunate to be swimming in the ice clear waters.

The area itself has a small cafe and there is also a shop that sells Mexican items.

A wonderful place and we were thoroughly glad that we came here.
