We arrived around 10.30 am, it was already really hot, and a huuuuuge line of people were there, waiting for ticket entrance (it appears that Sunday is a bad day to go there). Hopefully, 2 distributors were available but needed credit card... Advice, bring yours!...More

Typical over priced tourist shops. People in costumes wanting money for a photo and people with iguana also wanting money for photos. Don't waste your time just head straight down to the ruins which are beautiful and well worth visiting

I won't go into the same run-down as I see here already, but I will state that this is one of three sets of ruins any visitor to the area should see. It's great to compare and contrast the architecture and style seen between here,...More

Unlike some other markets we visited, the vendors here were keen to sell without being a pain in the neck. Local crafts, fabrics, carvings etc, plus bars and cafes.

One reason to go is to find free things to do. Plenty of iguanas at the park while you watch the Voladores de Pampantla. They work only for donations and are very nice people. A guy was selling coconuts for 4 us and I gave...More
