We went here to see the monkeys and received so much more. It was a cloudy drizzly day and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. We had a wonderful guide who had family in the area for generations. His English was good and...More

We went with a tour company called mexico kan tours. When we got there our guide showed us the route and took us to see the howler monkeys. The cenote was beautiful with the sacred skulls at the bottom! (Take a light and goggles!) Hopefully...More

Beautiful place in the jungle that helps to support the struggling ecosystem and Mayan people of the area. Kind, friendly, and patient guides walk through this jungle oasis. Phenomenal experience!

This place is also known as the Spider Monkey Reserve or Otoch Ma'ax Yetel Kooh - but whatever you call it, it's a special place. Unlike other sanctuaries that are little more than glorified zoos, this is just that: a huge tract of land and...More

Go on your own without a tour. Rent a car and set it up directly yourself. Jesus was an amazing guide. He truly loves the jungle, his culture and his job. He loves the environment and that comes through. This tour is not for everyone...More
