I’m a Dive Master diving all over the world and very few times I had the opportunity to dive with such an excellent professional. Betto knows the cenotes like the palms of he’s hands, explains everything in detail, is relaxed and calm, transmitting that feeling to others.
He dives safely, slowly, always keeping an eye on clients and showing interesting details which we may not see.
If you want to dive in the cenotes and have a great experience, ask for Betto when you book your dives!

Paolo is simply the best, I come to Tulum regularly and he is by far the most professional and safety conscious dive guide I have had. His briefings are thorough and his passion for providing a great experience is clear to see. I highly recommend Diving Cenotes whether you want to dive in the cenotes or the ocean. Dive The Pit cenote, it is amazing!

My son and I cannot recommend Paolo enough: we had two days of diving and Paolo knew all the ins and outs of each dive location. I was especially impressed with his knowledge of the Pit, and what awaits you (and no one else that day) if you are the first to dive in the early morning. He seems to be the only guide who understands why that is so important, and the result was outstanding. He was also great on all the other dives, as well as all the logistics. We could not have had a better time, and will absolutely utilize Paolo's services on our next trip to the Cenotes!

We had an absolute fantastic time diving with Paolo. He puts the energy into getting the timing right on all of our dives—starting The Pit first thing in the morning before the crowds arrive and ending the day in Dos Ojos with the light hitting the second eye just right. Honestly, it was a fantastic and beautiful experience Paolo’s knowledge and expertise.

We liked the first dive so much.. we immediately booked a second!
Paolo's customer service was excellent before our arrival; helping guide our decision making process. Orientation in Tulum was seamless and professional.
I have never done a dive a so we started with Casa Cenote. Michael was awesome. Well humoured and made me feel incredibly safe. It was easy to learn the basics and dive (with a baby crocodile!!!). We couldn't stop smiling all day.
We then booked Dos Ojos with Hannah and Izam for later in the week. This was mind blowing. My bf did the dive with Izam and Hannah took me snorkeling. The Cenote is breathtaking and both guides are well informed and have a passion for Mexico and these wonders!
Highly recommend skipping your sleep in and going early.. a cenote all to yourself is a special experience. We will be back!

This was my second time diving with Paulo in Tulum and both times were phenomenal! His expert knowledge of the area, skill as a divemaster and great personality made for unforgettable experiences. I highly recommend contacting Paolo and the staff at Dive Cenotes Tulum for your dive experience on the Yucatan. I know I will be back soon!

Very responsive and patiently explained the dive sites & answering all our questions.
On the diving day, he was punctual and the rental gears were in good conditions. He recommended for us to start early to avoid crowd, and to enjoy the morning sun ray in the cenotes. This was very helpful and both the dives were very enjoyable.

Paolo was great. He had all the qualities you could want in a dive mater/instructor -professional, knowledgeable and his customer service was excellent.
We rented our gear and it was either in great condition or new. Just what you want to see!
Having dived in various places around the world, you become accustomed to the 'gun-ho' attitude most dive masters have which, at times, can leave you questioning safety practices. That is not the case with Paolo. Everything about his operation screames safety which really put us at easy as we have never dived in cenotés before.

I have worked with a few companies in the area over the years and I cannot say enough about Paolo. He is safe, professional, and incredibly passionate about what he does- which translates to clients as a first in class experience. Highly recommended and I will be returning as soon as I can!

I experienced a full day of diving in 2 different cenotes with Diving Cenotes Tulum and Paolo. I can highly recommend it and would to it the same way again. Paolo is very passionate and experienced. You feel yourself in very good hands! He answered quickly to upcoming questions prior the dive! Although I didn’t dive quite a long time, we did a refresher training in the early morning in the Casa Cenote and then went to Cenote Dos Ojos to do two dives there!

I am not 100% sure, but I think Paolo will accept more than just PADI. The best thing to do is send him an email. He usually responds within a few days.

Hi, we do mostly cavern diving in the cenotes and for some of these dives the Open water diving certification it is enough, for others you need an advanced diving certification.

Hi, yes it is possible to have five lessons as part of a dive training in only some cenotes and in the reef, here and Cozumel.

can you please tell me if you had to pay axtra for the diving equipment? Because i saw the dives are quite expensive and it seems like you als have to pay for every peace of equipment? Or am i wrong?

Hi, Thanks for your message, yes the price doesnt not include rental equipment and the cost for the basic rental equipment is 5usd or 25usd for the basic set.

Hi, I'm a certified diver, but my last dive is a while ago already. Is it wise to do cenote diving in that case? Or can I do a padi reactivate or something similar in Tulum?

No problem it is as easy as, and exit points in heaps so spots, they are very safe, just do it !

Hi Mike, thanks for your question. If you are not certified diver you could do one discovery dive in a place called Casa Cenote, which take just a couple of hours, if you have few days another option is to do the full open water course which takes 4 half days then after that you could dive places like Cenote 2 ojos and gran cenote. also you could join one of the snorkelling trip to visit one of the cenotes that we have around here.
