My teenage son and I dove The Pit and Dos Ojos. Our guide, Rubi (short for Rubiel), picked us up at the shop at 8:30 am, took us to the Ejido (a sort of indian reservation) in an extended cab pickup truck. Ruby, a mexican national, was very professional, but also very friendly and a good conversationalist. We had wide-ranging... More

We immediately got a very nice contact with Luis when we approached the shop and it proved to be a brilliant choice to dive with scuba Tulum. I finished my referall for an open water certificate and my girlfriend tagged a long for the dives since she already have the certificate. Marina was fantastic and I couldn't have wished for... I am SO glad that we decided to go with Scuba Tulum for our cenote dives!! My husband and I hadn’t been diving in a few years (we used to go all the time in the ocean). This was our first dive in a cenote. The lady I had been emailing with was a little slow at getting back to... More

We were a group of 5 for the first day of diving and 4 for the second. We dove Casa Cenote and Gran Cenote the first day and did a 2 tank at Dos Ojos. We dove with Rubi the first day and Paulo the second. We did have to split up our group the first day as 4 divers... More

My two best friends and went to Tulum for the express purpose of getting PADI Open Water SCUBA certified. Prior to the trip we did some research on TripAdvisor and narrowed it down to a couple of dive shops to which we reached out directly for specifics on pricing and availability. SCUBA Tulum was by far the most helpful and... More

Went diving with Ruby and one other diver (who happened to also be a dive master so was in very good hands!). We went to Casa Cenote and Grand Cenote which I highly recommend. I was a little nervous because I hadn't been diving in such a long time and had never been diving in a Cenote. Ruby was calm,... More

We are quite experienced ocean divers, but we decided to do our first cenote dive at Dos Ojos with Scuba Tulum and we weren't disappointed! It was the first shop we visited that didn't try to up sell us or hide any fees. Rubi was our wonderful guide, and he was knowledgable, confident, laid back and an all around pleasure... More

My boyfriend and I took the PADI open water certificate with Marina from Scuba Tulum, and we had such a great time! Marina was very patient and we got a lot of individual attention plus our first dive was in a nearby cenote instead of in a pool - really cool way to be introduced to diving. We did most... More

Easy, friendly & fast scheduling. The shop owner/mgr was very straight forward and did not push for prices. I wish I could think of the shop owner's name, but either way he is a cool Swiss dude. Definitely did not feel any vibes of arrogance or ego like so many dive shops exude. Another plus is that they didn't slam... More
