We booked through ProDive rep at our hotel- Occidental at Xcaret Destination. Carlos helped us arrange a 4 hour fishing excursion from Puerto Adventuras marina. The crew were great and although we didn’t have success with the bigger fish we did catch 7 trigger fish and one yellow snapper! My fish ever!! Thanks for a great day!

Went fishing with ivan and had a great time. caught two Barracuda's we were treated to a great experience by the first mate and had a lot of laughs along the way. would most defiantly go again when i return to Playa Del Carmen.

We routinely fish in Cabo, Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Maya several times a year. At each location we've found in our opinion the best Charter Captain. Captain Kiki, is by far the best of all locations we've run across. He knows the spots to pick, and does a great job educating you about the types of fish, the right equipment and has a wonderful personality. Very thoughtful as to your needs and driving a boat in what can be really rough seas at times. He speaks excellent english so the trip will have a very clear and easy to understand Captain. A real professional we will use many times over in the future. We highly recommend him for your Charter.

Wooow!!! Thank You very much for your review!! this is very Good coming from experience anglers who has been fishing in several places in the world! Im glad you like my brieifing, is very important the anglers get the best picture of what we do so they have a good conciens of what we will be fishing and how. looking forward to see you again here!!!

Arantza Fishing Charters.
The crew was good and worked hard, but we got skunked, no fish in 4 hours, we got sucked into fishing with no other fishing boats out there. We were told it was high season for Maha, but it seems everyone one else who was not out there fishing knew something we did not. Not a good time to be on the water for fishing. We have gone fishing many times in different parts of Mexico with plenty of fish being caught. This trip was $270.00 USD for a boat ride and we never touched a rod. The captain said it could have been the full moon. Live and learn and stay away for these guys selling packages at the hotels. You are better off going directly to the company and hopefully they will be honest with you. Complete waste of a 1/2 a day and a lot of money for nothing.

My son and his girlfriend (young adults) wanted to go on a fishing excursion. I was a little leary after hearing some of the stories out there so I wanted to research before getting there. I came across Captain Kiki's services. All reviews were excellent and seemed legit. People had said they booked with him before the trip which I decided to take the chance to do. I sent him an email and he responded immediately. I paid for half the trip (a deposit) through pay pal and choose a date and time at that point. A couple days before the fishing excursion I reached out and made plans on where to meet. He was very good at giving directions and contact information. Captain Kiki took them out at 8am for 4 hours where he took them to places where they could catch. Apparently he knows all the right spots and when to go. My son ended up catching a barracuda which was an awesome experience. He had two other catches that ended up breaking the line and getting away but the thrill of even that was great! Captain Kiki gave his assistance and expertise on how to land the catch.
I would recommend Captain Kiki's fishing boat to anyone! Not only was he reasonably priced but he was also easy to communicate with and trustworthy!!

A1 service. went alone with Kiki and mate. both awesome and very helpful. at times i was tired but they kept helping to get a fish on. Kikis stories and personality really was the icing on the cake. he is a real person who has a bright attitude to make all trips enjoyable. i will be booking again next time i come to playa. thanks Kiki.

When you want to go fishing in playa del carmen make sure to check this guy out. Amazing hospitality, very outgoing captain, boat in good conditions and we had an overall great time. HIGHLY recommendable

A friend booked Capt. Kiki for our trip to a Mexican resort for a destination wedding and roped a couple of us into going with him. We are still talking about it a year later. We reeled in a Mahi-mahi, a Barracuda, and had a swordfish following our boat. There was more than we could eat, so they cut us off a couple of filets and we gave the crew the rest of our catch and leftover beer. The resort cooked the filets for us and it’s the best fish I’ve ever had. Even when the fish weren’t biting, Capt. Kiki was great to chat with. He is also a skydiving instructor and had great stories if you’re willing to ask. If you are thinking of booking a fishing trip while in Tulum, I highly recommend Capt. Kiki.

My family (3 passengers) came back from superb fishing expedition lead by Captain Kiki and the crew.
My son really wanted to experience the sea fishing, and I came across this charter via web search. Here is the summary of our experience.
1. Email was the best way to make an initial contact (for me). Captain Kiki was (surprisingly and pleasantly) tech-savvy and all the info was quickly communicated (almost real-time) via email and through WhatsApp. Arrange the method of payment with the captain.
2. The boat was nicely maintained and spacious. They had enough water and drinks (which we did not use after all). Toilets available, but do not anticipate luxurious one.
3. We were also greeted with two additional crews who were very helpful and incredibly courteous throughout the trip. My wife and son liked them very much.
4. We had very rough sea (we are glad that we were not sea-sick), but the captain and the crews lead us to catch a 1 meter-long barracuda ! Awesome !
The experience was awesome. I wish I brought additional cash so that I could have tipped them little more !

Just got back from fishing and snorkeling with captain Kiki, my 14 years old son almost caught a wahoo, but it got away. We end up caught a barracuda which is wonderful. We stop for an hour for snorkeling and as soon as we jump into the water here comes a most beautiful sea turtle swimming toward us. Water is so clear to see everything. We also saw couple huge sting rays and a lot of corals. Capitan Kiki was really nice, he explain every details about the trip before we go and every good to finding the best snorkeling spot for us to see the sea turtles which is 100 times better than the Akumel sea turtles trip we had. Boat ride was super fun my two kids, 14 years old son and 10 years old daughter had so much fun with it. He put nice shade cover in the front of the boat and padded with cushion. Overall is best trip we had for long time. We will book another fishing and snorkeling trip with him in the end of this week. Highly recommend.
