To be up front, I have not yet gone diving with ScubaCaribe (I'll be there in 2 weeks) but going off the personalized experience I received throughout the booking process, I'm most confident that it will be a dive to remember! My wife and I decided to go to Riu Playacar 1) because it's at 27% capacity and 2) ScubaCaribe is attached to the resort. Due to COVID, we were very apprehensive initially about going diving esp as many dive shops don't take the necessary precautions. With the expectation that we probably don't go diving, I emailed ScubaCaribe to ask about their COVID precautions expecting not to be satisfied and Susann Seifert responded promptly and I cannot praise her enough! Not only did Susann tell me about all the extensive precautions they take (incl. a disposable mouthpiece for the regulator which she kindly reserved for us with the manager of the dive shop!), she politely (and patiently) answered my bazillions of questions spanning over the course of a week and helped me save money in the process! Susann helped turn a 180 for us from initially thinking that I wouldn't go diving at all (due to COVID) to booking 12 dives in total (Cenote, bull shark and local dives). If you're in Playa Del Carmen, ScubaCaribe is the ONLY diving spot to visit (ask for Susann!).

We had a 4 hour private boat tour for just the four us, 2 couples. We snorkeled at two locations, saw so many beautiful fish, abundant coral and numerous stingrays! We anchored and swam to a gorgeous deserted beach. The water was absolutely breathtaking. The boat was comfortable, provided areas for shade and sun. We were able to bring on board our own food and alcohol, bluetooth our own music. The captain and first mate were professional and friendly. We enjoyed it very much and will use this company again on our next trip.

Scuba Caribe Experience was amaizing. Both, my husband and my son, had an initial lesson with Fernando - and he was great. Convincing 14 year old to go scuba diving is really hard these days. Fernando did it right away with a thorough explanation needed if you go deep down. Equipment was properly sanitized, lesson was informative and boys were super happy. Whenever time permits we will definitely go back. My husband was so happy with the service that he decided to take a few lessons in the future and learn how to dive in an open water. And he is not that young anymore. Anyway, I highly recommend it - it is worth any money. Not mentioning the beautiful photos and shorth videos we watch everyday torturing ourselves.

We stayed at the RIU Palace Riviera Maya from Aug.3-11, 2020. During our trip we were able to dive numerous times with the team at Scuba Caribe, as they were located right on the beach of the resort. The Express to Cozumel was amazing. My wife and I have dived numerous times in Cozumel, but had not gotten around to diving two sites in particular that we wanted to do. The C-53 wreck and Santa Rosa Wall. We mentioned these as sites we would be interested in diving, and we got to do both on the one trip. Pedro was our guide for the trip. Because of COVID-19 limitations on boat occupancy, my wife and I were the only two divers who went with Pedro. There were two other groups of similar size on the boat to Cozumel, but each group had a guide of their own. As we had never dove a wreck before, Pedro was amazing at helping us navigate a new experience on the wreck. Pedro was exceptional at taking proper COVID-19 precautions. Mask, distancing on the boat, etc. We felt safe the entire trip start to finish. Back at the shop, Cecilio was excellent in helping us plan our dive trips. Can't say enough good things about Scuba Caribe.
